Special Announcement
Hey everyone, I want to share something important for the month of April. April is a special month for me. It’s my birthday month, and it’s also the month my mom passed. Because of that, I’m taking time to reset, refocus, and make sure I’m building this community the right way for those who are serious about becoming phlebotomists. Starting today, I’m opening up all learning modules for self-study access for the month of April. This means: - You will be able to go through all course material at your own pace - You can review, catch up, or get ahead However, please understand: This is a self-study period only - No live sessions. If you have access already see the previously recorded. - No worksheets - No recorded lives Important for current paid self-study students: I will be sending you a message directly. You must comment on this post if you want access opened for you. If you do not comment on this post, I will not open access. If you are serious, this is your time to: - Go through the lessons - Mark your progress - Ask questions in the group - Stay consistent In May, we will return to full structure, support, and live sessions for those who are ready. If you’ve been waiting to get focused, this is your moment. I’m still here, and I’m still rooting for you. — Cherell

Study Tip for Module 5: Specimen Processing
Specimen processing is where small mistakes can cause big problems. This is the part of phlebotomy that protects the patient after the blood is drawn. Here is your focus tip: Always think: Label. Mix. Check. Transport. 1. Label immediately 2. Mix correctly 3. Check the specimen 4. Transport properly On the NHA exam, many questions are scenario-based. They will ask what you should do if a tube is mislabeled, left at room temperature too long, or transported incorrectly. Always ask yourself:“Is this specimen still valid and safe for testing?” Specimen processing shows professionalism. Drawing the blood is only half the job. Protecting it is the other half. Stay sharp. This is where good phlebotomists stand out.

Another PASS in the books!
Let’s give a huge shout-out to one of our students @Saika Rodney who officially passed her phlebotomy certification exam! This didn’t happen by luck. It happened because she: - Stayed consistent - Showed up for the lessons - Used the study tools - Took her preparation seriously This is proof that the process works when you work the process. I’m so proud of you and excited for what’s next in your journey. To everyone else in the community: let this be your reminder that your turn is coming. Keep going. Stay focused. Ask questions. Mark those lessons as done. We celebrate every win here. 💜If you’ve passed recently, drop it in the comments so we can celebrate you too! — Cherell
