What Stories Does Cinema Need Right Now? 🎬
Following up on lasts post on What Kind of Films the Future needs we had an amazing call today to really work that out and actually got some nice results. What kind of films the future needs? The Future needs films made of the fabric of life itself and to find the hero within oneself, and celebrate the heros of everyday life. They are made from real moments told by those who actually lived them and that are unique to their context. They entertain, without being entertainment. They educate, without being educational They are fun, without being a comedy. They reject the label, to embody A world that is in constant transformation. world that is in constant transformation. They bring a smile on your face, A thought in your shower, A dialogue on the dinner table, And are a role model without trying. And sometimes a tear to your eye, Where you don´t know if its laughter or sadness. Your comments last time indicated... We're tired of the same stuff. Superhero movies, remakes, formulas. We want original stories with real emotion again. We want to feel connected. Stories that bridge divides. That show our humanity. Not more dystopian warnings, but films about how we find meaning and love in this crazy tech-driven world. Everyone deserves to be seen. Stories from all backgrounds, in ALL genres. Not just dramas—give us sci-fi, thrillers, comedies with diverse voices leading the way. Play the recording, the ending is REALLY interesting. Maybe i will create a shortened version of it cause we really hit an inspirational point for us both and are happy to share it with you

The Reckless God
📽 The Reckless God – A Starry Night Saga They came first as shadows across the starry night sky — three, four serpents of iron and fire, born not of flesh but of machinery and smoke. They soared like dragons over Van Gogh’s beautiful bright starry night, their molten eyes searching for a world to consume. The painted village slept below, but the gods had found it. Steel coils slithered through its narrow streets, jaws spilling fire that licked across brushstroke rooftops. Each turn, each hiss, bent the dream of Van Gogh into nightmare. One serpent rose above the rest. It wound itself around the church spire, climbing higher, higher, until it pierced the heart of the heavens. And then the sky — could not hold. The stars themselves ruptured. Golden suns burst into flame, cobalt brushstrokes tore open like wounded fabric. The night exploded, light raining down as though the very canvas of eternity had decided to shatter. The beast fell. Slow, terrible, inevitable. Its body uncoiled from the tower, crashing through the village below. Sparks and smoke erupted with each impact; roofs and roads dissolved into splintered paint. The reckless god had risen — and the reckless god had fallen. But from the silence that followed, she emerged. An angel, radiant, wings drenched in cobalt and gold. She rose, halo blazing brighter than every star that had died. Her light cut through the smoke, her presence stilled the ruin. It was her — the one who undid the god, who restored the painted night. And as the cello swells, the story closes. The serpent is ash. The angel ascends. The canvas breathes again. The beautiful bright starry night endures. • Directed by Matty fn YatO (ChachiNoir) • Choreography of the Night by Matty fn YatO • Words of the Saga by ChatGPT • Canvas by Vincent van Gogh • Cinematography by Veo AI • Music by CapCut • Edited and Produced by Matty fn YatO

🔥Hello everyone, . I’m here to eventually learn how to make films, definitely Documentaries of which I love —But for now I’m here to get a grasp on the tools of the trade and the like .. But in the meantime and before I win ‘Best Director’ 😝— i’d like to build YouTube content systems that actually work. No fancy gear. Less red carpet and real results — smart workflows and results. Goals: 1. Automate content without losing the spark. 2. Grow a channel with real reach. 3. Build a system that works while I sleep. What’s in the way? Doing it all solo and getting stuck in the weeds. Thank you for having me Jonas— 🔥

@Jonas Marcel Jonas! Good to catch up with you as well— Thankful for the opportunity and i hope to be here 2-3x a week.. As far as types of Docs i prefer? I would have to say Expository/Participatory/Poetic — my favorite Doc(s) is Exit Through the Gift… (Banksy), Hoop Dreams, Amy (Winehouse), and All These Sleepless Nights. . All 21st Century Docs i believe. Autocut looks fantastic!! Is it expensive?? I didn’t catch a price for some reason. That’s an entourage you speak of, yeah? Too many for me. TY Jonas Marcel!! Appreciate you!!
