This is the material you see on the 1 day new bathroom install. They are composite sheets. We had the plumbing and shower done in 3 days. I still am a firm believer in a cement base with a rubber membrane and the hydro lock and ALWAYS a Leak test. If your contractor says I don’t do that then he’s basically telling you well I don’t make sure my work operates properly. In our classes I will be giving you a tool list of tools you need and a clear understanding of how the shower is put together. This is more advanced. My plan is to see what you’d like to learn and lean into that. A class on this would be great for someone having a contractor do the work because you can make sure it’s being done right without asking a single question. Contractors tend to skip steps if they can to save their bottoms line and it only hurts you in the long run. For instance if they don’t use the rubber membrane and the hydrolock you will have a rotten floor in less than 4 years.

Especially when I start going live or doing classes I will leach you how to install like a pro!

I would just like to say this is not a men only Skool women are more than welcome to join and not feel like anyone will make them feel uncomfortable. I hire women if they want to work. I feel that anyone can do this stuff. You just need a good plan, proper materials and help.

I think that’s enough decks lol. I want to make one suggestion. The materials you buy down to the hardware and your technique all give you the desired quality you expect. I use all 316 SS screws all screws are pre-drilled, A grade lumber (not from Lowes) your local lumber yard is what you want. You can tell if it’s good treated lumber by its look. The better treated lumber will be greenish blue and it fully penitrated whereas Lowe’s is darker green they use a whole different soak and soak time to treat it. It’s not as good and it’s not as tight grained. This all comes into play for longevity.
