Hello team, would any of you whole have a few years doing this; ever had someone tell you “I’m not paying you” after you did the job? If so, what do you do? What can you do? What should you do?>and should I ask the Customer for half upfront and then the other half once the job is finished? 2) Should you have someone sign that they give permission to you work on their headlights BEFORE you actually do the work? 3)Anything I need to do to protect myself from whatever it may be, any suggestions is very much appreciated! @Redmond Roberts I agree with Clayton, another thing you can do is look at your local oil change/ dealership service center approval paperwork and take some verbiage from their if your really that concerned.

Restoration Duration and Warranty ?
I know depending on the products used, you'll get a different outcome and duration of protection. But realistically, 1 year warranty ? 2 year warranty ? Anyone else in the blazing sun/south? roughly 230+ sunny days per year, 9+hrs/day in the summer. Solar panels everywhere, etc etc You get it what i'm saying. looking to kick off this side gig without shooting myself in the foot. Thank you.

@Christopher Stevens yessir, just a sand and polish. was just a quick way to get better visibility before a road trip. again this was roughly 11 months ago now and way before i saw any of these videos or looked into it more. I could have 2k'd it with some ppg clear without much hassle, but it was literally done while the wife and kids were in the car waiting, so it took at most 15min. LOL. if i 2k it i'd wait for the proper cure time and i just didnt have the time then. Thank you again for your input / feedback.

Probably our average headlight cost through a collision center is well over $1,000 on anything newer than 2014. $1,000 + vs any restoration service is an easy winner. Restoration every time.
