I’d like to share the cover for my second comic! The pencils and inks are officially finished, and now it’s time for the coloring to bring it all to life. It’s been a blast watching this one come together, and I’m excited to share each step of the journey with you. Now I want to turn the spotlight over to all of you—what are you working on? Hey artists I’m almost done putting together a free course on artist mindset. As an art teacher I’ve seen so many talented artists burn out or give up and it seems like a waste of potential, passion, and purpose. I’ve also seen some artists just get stuck, with art block, motivation issues or over comparison. I am really happy with the results of this painted Magic card, but I really struggled to recreate the iridescence of the snake skin. Anyone have tips on painting something like that?
