Congratulations to Oliver Bateman-Lee who joins the J4K Team.

I know I'm going to get a load of backlash for the following, this evening was the first wear of my gloves, I have'nt used or had any experience with j4ksports gloves, as advised I washed the glives through with luke warm water and to dry naturally until this evening, no glove glue was used, only water and good old natural spit. I'm sorry to say, they had as much grip as a new frying pan, I would class myself as a pretty good keeper with the experience and knowledge of how to dampen a shot and take the ball to ground, every shot tonight was paried because there was no adhesion, ball to glove, has anyone else used these gloves and had a different experience. Maybe its the design of the palm and latex, I will try again. Just to say that i am tottally transparent, and not negative about the glove or brand, I have brought another pair of gloves with a smooth palm.

Gloves arrived today, a signed for package, good start. Opened up, 1st impressions look good, nice colour, nice bag, each glove in its own little bag. Gloves are a little tight, I would go a size bigger, next time. I wasnt impressed about having to cut down and insert the finger spines, I would prefer factory fit. As for grip there wasnt any straight out of the bag, bir of water and some glove glue, Im hopeful they will become grippier, we shall see ove the weekend or on match day.

Guys, I have been ask by ALOT of you to get some base layers.. So can you please advise what colour you wear under your goalkeeper kit... If i have missed a colour out - please write in comments below.

My first order has been shipped, Im looking forward to using trying them on the astroturf, it will be the first make of gloves other than Adidas that I will of used in 30ish years, I'm hoping they arrive in the morning so that I can try them out tomorrow night, watch this space for my reveiw. Update, Sadly my gloves are arriving tomorrow, so I will have to wait, to try them out.
