Cold Email Is a Truth Machine
One underrated thing about cold email is how honest it is. Inbound can lie to you. Referrals can flatter you. Likes and comments can feel like interest. Cold email doesn’t. People reply or they don’t. They ask questions or they ignore you. They tell you no in very direct terms. That feedback is uncomfortable, but it’s incredibly useful. That’s why outbound agencies move faster than most teams. They don’t guess what the market wants. They hear it directly, every week, at scale. Cold email forces clarity. It exposes weak positioning. It exposes vague offers. It exposes when something sounds good in theory but not in reality. AI makes this easier to run, but the value isn’t the automation.
