Integrating Claude Code with Gemini Canvas for Presentations
Does anyone have a reliable bridge for using Claude Code to drive Gemini's web-based Canvas features? I'm trying to transition the structured output from the CLI directly into the Gemini web UI without manual copy-pasting. @Nate Herk Maybe you have a cool idea?

@Atul Pathria it logs a markdown file. than it goes and analyze it and produce a report with a specific structure. I want to turn the report into a presentation.

**UPDATE** I tried using Gemini API via aistudio.google.com. it's not exactly using the canvas as I wanted, it uses the flash model. and the flow worked ok. Long story short, I ended up creating a python script that uses python-pptx to build the presentation. The script now reads the markdown file's ## sections and builds one slide per section. For each section it classifies the content type — table, bullet list, numbered actionable items, or headlines — and picks the matching card layout automatically. End result: drop any report in, get a .pptx out. The whole thing runs as a Claude Code skill — one command, no web UI, no copy-paste. I'll keep working and tweaking it and see if I can make it better.
