Grand Teton National Park offers virtual classroom experiences.
There are some great natural resources virtual learning experiences through our national parks. Grand Tetons National Park is excited to bring back their Snow Desk for a fun, interactive virtual learning experience for your K–5 students! Park rangers broadcast LIVE to classrooms from a desk made entirely of snow at the base of the Teton Range. Rangers will talk with your students about animal adaptations, snow science, the water cycle, and more. Surviving Winter (Grades K–3) Explore how animals in Grand Teton change how they look, where they live, and what they eat to survive winter. Every Snowflake Counts (Grades 3–5) Learn why snow matters, how it fits into the water cycle, and how you can conserve precious water resources.
