I notice that that the first circle shaped motif on the second set of pattern rows is split, with half on one side of the steek and half on the other. It looks like a C when you start and then at the end of the row, when you get to the steek, an I. Is it supposed to look like this?

I notice there is a size difference between the pullover and the cardigan. In size 3, chest circumference is 44 3/4” pullover; 46 3/4” in the cardigan. Why is that? Will this make a difference in yardage? Thanks.
