I built a new software primitive. It replaces AI screenshot agents and Vision Based AI Browsers
First things first : This is a Open Source project. No Funnel. No sell. No nothing to make that clear. Every AI agent framework I've seen does the same thing: take a screenshot, send it to a vision model, guess where to click. It works — sometimes. The best benchmarks show 42-72% success rates and 10-20 minutes per task. I asked a different question: why is AI looking at screens at all? Every Windows application already describes itself as structured text through the Accessibility Layer (built for screen readers since 1997). Every button says its name. Every field shows its value. Structured. Queryable. Free. So I built a small tool that reads this tree and stores it in a local database. Instead of "here's a screenshot, guess where Save is", the AI asks "which buttons exist?" and gets a text answer in milliseconds. Results on day 1: - 360 Google Sheets cells filled in 90 seconds - Token cost per step: 50-200 instead of 2,000-5,000 - Works with any LLM — including local models - Works with any Windows app, not just browsers Open source, 700KB, Rust: https://github.com/IamLumae/DirectShell Whitepaper : https://dev.to/tlrag/-directshell-i-turned-the-accessibility-layer-into-a-universal-app-interface-no-screenshots-no-2457 Youtube Demo: https://youtu.be/nvZobyt0KBg Curious what you think — is this useful for your automation workflows, or is browser-only good enough for most use cases?
Email Cart Recovery Is Dying in India… Is WhatsApp the Real Play?
Thinking out loud about WhatsApp Cart Recovery for e-commerce stores… Email abandoned cart flows are everywhere, but in India most customers don’t even open promotional emails. WhatsApp, on the other hand, gets read almost instantly. So I’m exploring building a simple system that: • reminds shoppers about their cart on WhatsApp • lets them reply with questions • brings them back to checkout Curious to hear from fellow automation builders or anyone working with e-commerce workflows:: 1️⃣ Have you tried WhatsApp recovery before? Did it work better than email? 2️⃣ If you were to use something like this, what would matter most — recovery rate, automation, or customer experience? 3️⃣ What would make you trust a service like this enough to try it? Not selling anything — just trying to understand whether this solves a real problem or is just another shiny automation idea. Would genuinely appreciate your thoughts 🙌

@Neha M Purty In my experience, smaller stores are usually more open to testing — they feel the pain of every lost cart directly and don't have a 6-month procurement process. The key is making it zero-risk: "Let me run this alongside your existing email flow for 2 weeks, we compare numbers, you decide." No access to checkout data needed upfront — just a webhook on cart abandonment. Once they see the first recovered sale come through WhatsApp, convincing is done.

@Neha M Purty Exactly — the product sells itself once they see the first WhatsApp-recovered order hit their dashboard. No pitch deck beats a real transaction. Looking forward to seeing how your project evolves, keep us posted!
looking for a Job
Hello, my name is Saeed.I’m from Iran, and I’m currently looking for a job related to the field I’m skilled in. I have experience building different automations using no-code tools like n8n and Relevance AI, and I’m confident in creating efficient workflows. I’m looking for a job opportunity where I can both gain more experience and create a stable source of income. I’ve shared some samples of my work in the images, but my main projects and workflows were built in Docker with n8n. Unfortunately, after updating my system, I lost many of my automations, and these are the only samples I currently have. Some of the workflows I’ve built include: • A workflow that extracts videos from YouTube and automatically creates engaging text and social media posts from them. This type of automation is perfect for content creators who want to turn long YouTube videos into short-form content but don’t have ideas or time to do it manually. • Another workflow that extracts targeted businesses from Google Maps, finds their emails, and then automatically sends thousands of sales emails and messages within minutes. These are just a few examples — I’ve built many other workflows and have strong hands-on experience with automation, though explaining all of them would take quite a while. I’m also happy to build a few free workflows for your business as a trial, so you can test my work and decide if you’d like to continue working together. If you’re interested in collaborating based on what I’ve shared, feel free to leave a comment under this post or send me a direct message. You can also contact me on Telegram with this ID:Saeed_std09 Looking forward to connecting and collaborating.

Hey Saeed, respect for putting yourself out there. The YouTube-to-social-media pipeline is a solid use case — content repurposing is one of those things every creator needs but nobody wants to do manually. One tip: lead with results instead of tool names. Instead of "I use n8n and Relevance AI", try "I built a system that turns one YouTube video into 5 social media posts in under 3 minutes." Clients buy outcomes, not tech stacks. The free trial offer is smart for getting your first 2-3 clients. Good luck man, keep building.

If you've sold an AI automation to a client, any tool, any industry, I want to hear about it. I'm collecting case studies to break down on the channel. This is your chance to build authority, get your brand out there, and showcase what you've built. 🎁 Bonus: I'll be analyzing all submissions and sharing the trends with you: what's selling, which industries are buying, and where the opportunities are. So even if you don't get featured, you'll benefit from the data. 👉 Fill it out HERE Takes 5 minutes. You can submit multiple projects.

Love this initiative. Real case studies > hypothetical frameworks any day. Submitted one — built an automation system for a client that uses structured text parsing instead of screenshots to control desktop applications. Different approach than most AI automation but the ROI numbers speak for themselves. Looking forward to seeing the trends across industries. Especially curious whether people are finding more success with full workflow automation or single-task tools.
