Midweek check-in 🌿
We’re right in the middle of the week now~ far enough in to feel it, not quite at the finish yet. Where is everyone at today? Are you in a push season~ moving things forward, getting momentum going? Or are you in something quieter~ maintaining, catching up, or even just trying to keep things steady? Perennial Planning isn’t about being “on” all the time. It’s about knowing what season you’re actually in… and working with it instead of against it. Drop where you’re at below~ Growth, Maintenance, or Rest 🌱

Right now it is a push season - getting the gardens ready for others and myself. Then in about 2 weeks, the gardens I tend for others move to maintenance mode. My personal one needs some on-going work. My fabric art has a steady on-going heartbeat due to some changes I made early this year.
Weekend Reset/ Rest-Set 🌿
The week’s coming into view~ Before you move on to the next week, pause for a second~ not to review everything, just to notice a few honest things: What actually grabbed your attention this week? What quietly took more energy than expected? Where did your energy change? And what felt~ steady and stable? And maybe~ what’s starting to build momentum? Weekends aren’t always for resetting. Sometimes they’re for continuing~ just differently. A slower pace~ A softer grip~ A little more room to breathe between things~ Rest isn’t separate from progress. It’s what allows it to continue without strain. Rest is a huge part of what is needed to breathe and move through spaces and moments. And rest is essential for that to happen. Give yourself permission to carry what you need to over, and move what doesnt. Your life is yours to dictate and narrate~ Take what you've learned and use it to give yourself clarity for the next week. That’s what'll make next week easier~ Happy Friday~! ~Hansheng

@Brenda M , you have southern Vermont beat with your temperature. We're 65F/ 18.3 C. I set aside an hour this afternoon to work on my perennial beds. Good balance of working today on the two portraits, checking status of clients' gardens and being outside/working on my garden. The week has been a one of shifting small things based on my energy level.
