What makes a space feel easy to be in for you?
Lately I’ve been noticing how much difference it makes when people actually take time to get to know each other. 🫂 Not in a formal way, and not by listing titles or achievements — just simple, human connection. Asking questions. Listening. Letting things unfold without rushing to advise or position ourselves. I find I feel most comfortable, and most myself, in spaces where things feel balanced. Where no one’s trying to be “above” anyone else, and where honesty matters more than looking impressive. That’s usually where conversations feel easier and more genuine. ❤️ I’m still learning what I need from communities, but I do know this: when people feel received rather than assessed, they tend to show up more openly. And that’s when trust starts to build naturally. I’m curious — what helps you feel settled and able to be yourself when you’re new in a space?

I agree 100% Ellie, for me the interactions and conversations are most important , this leads to me wanting more
What a weird few days....
My mum has had a fall and is hospital, so I have been back and forth providing necessities. (She is okay and scan came back fine) My neighbor has been arrested, Had talks with the police and apparently later too. They moved in recently and have been quite the lively neighbors... My son may have been inappropriately handled by school staff....so I am now back and forth with documentation and investigations. I am stretched so thin trying to look after everyone! Why do things all happen at once? Months can go by quite serenely and then bam! May need a few days to get back on track! Send me some love 🙏 😅

Take a personal STOP for a second……close your eyes, take three deep breaths, feel the beat of your heart and say ‘ I’ve got this 🙌🏻 …. Then move on with your tasks 🙏🏻 Hope mum and son are both ok 🙏🏻

The "Nostalgia Compass" 🤔🧭
"Let's do a little time travel. Close your eyes and think of a song, a smell, or a taste that instantly wraps you in a warm blanket of a happy childhood memory. Got it? Now, here's your mission (should you choose to accept it with a cup of tea or gallon of water Aquarius @Dinka Salvador🤣 Today or sometime this week, deliberately re-create that sense. Play that song full blast and dance like a kid. Bake those cookies. Dig out that old photo album. Then, if you feel like it, come back and tell us what you revisited. Did it feel like visiting an old friend? With Love ❤️ Always Mark

@Tim Atyeo I have fond memories of the Forest of Dean, my family was from Gloucester and we had relations living there, forests bring me so much joy and inspiration , to just sit and use your senses, they take us back to where we belong 😊🙌🏻

🍝 Food for thought 🤔
I want to see your food! I made a roast dinner last night and took some round to my mum. Simple, familiar, full of nostalgia and has a feel good factor! 🍽️ Food has a funny way of carrying places with it. 💕🍛 One bite and you’re not just eating — you’re remembering a street, a person, a moment in time. My favourite - Khao Tom Moo or Pad Thai eaten in Thailand, hot and fresh, flavours you don’t forget once you’ve had them. 🍲 And there are still things on my list, like gravy and biscuits, that I haven’t tried yet but feel oddly curious about!! 🤔 Different countries, different kitchens, different stories — same shared language of food. What’s a meal that’s stayed with you from travelling? Or something from another culture you’d love to try one day? I want the dishes and the stories 🍽️🌍 Bonus points for pictures!!
