My Creative Journey at a Glance 🧙🏼♂️🎨🖌️
This is 40 years packed into one image. ( and there are thousands more, but we'll get to that another time;) I wanted to share this with you all, to show you what's possible. 🤩🚀 I've worked in nearly every industry as a professional artist, from tv, film, video games, publishing, comics, etc...to being an independent artist working for myself, doing conventions, commissions, et...and eventually creating work for organizations like Burning Man and people like Dr. Joe Dispenza, to name a few. I didn't have any inherent talent. I just kept at it. I was rejected from art college. All I had was a DEEP DESIRE to make art, and that's what fueled me. When I started out drawing stick figures and crappy fighter jets, I had no idea where my art journey would take me. I just knew I HAD to make art. I HAD to be an artist! What this image doesn't show are all the setbacks, heartbreaks, rejections, firings, imposter syndrome, long bouts of self-doubt, inner critics, outer critics, depression, sleepless nights, and all other horrors that artists face. The bottom-right image is a flyer for an art show I had this year. That show was a threshold, a 'death portal' if you will. A 'death' of the old artist.....that I may step into a new kind of artist....an artist of guidance and communication. Not about my art. But to help others. To help YOU guys get to where you want to go❤️🔥 Infinite Artist was 'born' in 2018. A vision I had to help emerging artists become the artists they were BORN to be. It's taken a while to get it off the ground, but here we are!:) In the upcoming weeks and months ( and ultimately, YEARS!) I look forward to getting to know all of you much more and learn what you need help with as artists( AND, humans!!;))) I'll be posting more about mentoring and coaching, so stay tuned! Thank you all for being here!!!! This community has only been around for two months, but it's been amazing watching so many of you transform your creativity, and BE TRANSFORMED by your creativity!!!
