Hi my names Stan and i am from the UK. I am a 4 stripe white belt in BJJ and currently 0-1 in Amateur MMA. I have trained Muay Thai in Thailand and placed 3rd in the No Gi British Open last year. I also run a Youtube channel with over 6500 subscribers documenting my own martial arts journey. Glad to be a part of this community!

Tornado Kick Update!
So I’ve been working on my tornado kick since the last time I shared. Biggest lessons I’m taking away: - having coordination of the steps moving forward - Being strong with single leg jumping - Turning my hips over more in the kick Still not perfected but I’m continuing to push it. Most of all everything comes from repetition- start small, build small wins and start putting it all together. I’d love to know. What moves or fitness challenges are you working on?

Training Motto Of The Week: An Indomitable Will
"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will." - Mahatma Ghandi I recently dealt with a setback the beginning of the new year and in the past this led to me spiraling and falling into rough habits and a possible hangover 🤕 But instead of doing that - I went to the gym and trained for nearly 2 hours (and the next day too) 💪 I attached a video of it below. Setbacks happen, problems drop unexpectedly and the most important thing to realize is strength isn't just physical as we often talk in fitness but mental too - the willpower to persevere difficult times, an indomitable will 🏋️‍♀️ Whatever you may be going through and dealing with, find the willpower to push through and persevere, even by a fraction more than before to priotize the right habits over the wrong ones. 💯

New Live Call Series: Coffee & Kicks ☕️ 🥊
Happy 2026 all! I’ve been wanting an opportunity to stir more conversation and opportunities to connect in this community so I’m launching a new series of live calls every week called “Coffee & Kicks!” ☕️ 🥊 It will be a 30 minute call (may be longer depending on how this goes) where we grab coffee and get to know each other + nerd out on all things fitness, martial arts, & kickboxing -this can be questions you might have on something you struggle with, a cool martial arts movie, training clip you saw online, in my case I’ve been on a Jackie Chan binge and there’s so much I’d love to share about his movie stunts and training style. Currently setting our calls for the weekend on Saturday 1pm but let me know in the comments, if that time doesn’t work and we’ll run a poll for better time slots. Super excited to get this going and hoping to see you all there 🙌

Love this idea for kicking off 2026! ☕️ Saturday at 1pm works sometimes for me, Saturday or Sunday is when I do my longer group bike rides. I’m especially pumped to hear more about Jackie Chan’s stunt training and how we can apply some of that to our own workouts.
