Revolutionaries! Random title to a post for sure 😂 But anyone ever heard of what the Plain Buffalo do when they see a storm coming? They turn and run. Not away from the storm, but directly into it. But why? The answer lies in their deep understanding of the situation. The buffalo know that outrunning the storm is impossible. They know that the fastest way to get through the storm is to face it head-on. If they run into it, they'll get through the worst of it the fastest. Last night's under-water ice swim was my storm. I have done plenty of ice baths before, but this was different. I saw a video of a lady who jumped into a little hole and didn't come out because she got swept away by the current and didn't have a rope. I had a rope, so I was confident I would be okay. However, if I said I wasn't a little intimidated, I'd be lying. It was pretty scary, especially at night. But I did it. The interest that's paid on facing our fears is iron-clad self-confidence and self-belief. Lean in. Take the leap. Be the plain buffalo.

When I saw this I was like no no🤣But I honor you for your trust and courage 🙏 Love the story of the plain buffalo👌💪

Since reading James Nestor's book Breath, I've started paying more attention to the contractions in my body and I realised that many times when I do breathwork my chest doesn't expand so much. He says that breathing correctly through the nose or practising all kind of techniques won't help much if we don't have the lung capacity to hold the air. So I decided to follow a different approach to breathing and I started doing yoga and the Five Tibetan rites before I do my breathwork practice almost every day. Conclusions: 1. My breathing has become more fluid 2. My chest feels less contracted 3. Breathing is becoming effortless 4. I can hold the breath holds with more ease and enjoy their benefits So, I was wondering what other people in this beautiful community are doing to expand their lung capacity, breathe better and reap more benefits of this amazing tool we have. I would love to hear back from you so we can all inspire each other and grow together.

I move my body with different breathing patterns for 10min ,kind of exercising but with focus all the way having a synchronicity with the movement and breath. And it's not easy at all but allowing me to open up every part of the body, to warm up lungs and all breathing capacity and to enter the flow too at the same time. This is what helping me.

    Sending love🤎

Welcome to the breathwork revolution my friend! The tools, the technology and the tribe in this community have the power to change your world. And when you change Your world, everyone around you benefits. We’re here to transform, to grow, and to create a better life for ourselves and for others, so in that spirit there’s two simple things I want you to do: 1. Drop a post and introduce yourself. Where are you from? What are your passions? And most importantly - what kind of life do you want to create? 2. Like, comment and support at least 3 other people in this community. We’re doing this together, which means showing up together.  Stay tuned and watch this space! Good things are coming. Life is a mental game guys! Once you are leveled up on the mental side you can kiss goodbye the cycles of self sabotage and limiting beliefs. This is where you get to become the designer of your own life. Master of your destiny. Get ready.

We humans are fueled by incentive and reward. Do something good, feel good about it, rinse and repeat. This is how we’ll sculpt your nervous system so your thoughts and feelings become a source of strength and internal inspiration rather than a source of self-sabotage and suffering. Basically this: the more you put into this group the more you’ll get out. I’ve designed this ecosystem to reward you for doing the things you know you want to do. The more you do the practices, the more you engage in a positive manner, the more you show up, the more you will get rewarded. In this way we create a positive feedback loop which spirals you upwards to the place you want to be. The other awesome thing? If you’re short of cash but you’re playing full out, you’ll be able to earn the points to access the full 9D Breathwork Community. If that’s not your jam and you just want access to my Premium stuff right away (cos there’s no time to waste and you’re on a fu**in' mission) - then go right ahead, click this link and follow the steps. Either way, we’re going to get you where you want to go. Enjoy the journey my friend. My team and I plus this community of game changers will be right there with you every step of the way. Brian

Since Marina’s Journey I didn’t do any as I started the MB30…. I have been struggling to be consistent since this week (i am on the 3rd week of the challenge). Today I felt so overwhelmed and thank god my baby was going to day care so I asked myself what do I need and the Release Stress and Anxiety was exactly what I needed !! Waouuuuu It just reminded my Why I committed to breath work ! I freaking want to share it to the entire world ! This is just insane ! I just can’t believe how each journeys are so powerful!!! I actually wonder how much deeper I can go ! This journey was unreal, the sensation were so different to the others, my body was feeling so alive and it was actually shaking for a good 30 minutes after the journey …. So grateful to be able to experience those journeys ♥️ PS : If you wonder how I was able to do as I am only at level 3 ; I got the membership with Brian in the Level Up Breath masters group where all the journeys are available without having to reach the levels to unlock them 🙏🏻♥️

Awww this is so good to hear dear Marion and I am glad you listen your body of what and when you need to do the journey. Celebrating your outcome and bring focuse now for the proper integration as the most important part after any outcome. Sending lots of love and yes every journey brings something different so we can observe and work on it once we open our eyes. So integration is the key. Much love to both of you❤️🙏

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.We ask ourselves "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?".Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to Shine as children do... We were born to make manifest the Glory of God that is within us. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our deepest Fear, our presence automatically liberates others. This then is our true purpose in life, to discover who we truly are and be all that we can be." - Maryanne Williamson

Hi everyone. Quick question 🙋🏻‍♀️ Does rectangular breathing have the same of effect of reducing cortisol as in box breathing? Or does it have a different one? And what is the ideal ratio for the exhale, inhale vs. the holds? Thanks a lot🙏🏻

Hi dear💚Rectangular breathing, also known as "4-7-8 breathing" or "unequal ratio breathing," is a breathing technique that can help to reduce stress and anxiety, similar to box breathing. Both techniques involve conscious control of your breath, focusing on inhaling, exhaling, and holding periods. By engaging in these practices, you can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps to reduce cortisol levels and promote relaxation. While both box breathing and rectangular breathing can have similar effects on cortisol reduction, they follow slightly different patterns. Box breathing follows a 1:1:1:1 ratio, meaning you inhale, hold, exhale, and hold again for an equal duration (typically 4 seconds each). Rectangular breathing, on the other hand, involves inhaling for 4 seconds, holding for 7 seconds, exhaling for 8 seconds, and not holding after the exhale. The 4-7-8 ratio helps to deepen the relaxation response due to the longer exhale and holding periods. Both techniques can be effective or reducing stress and anxiety, but your preferences and comfort levels may vary. It's important to find a method that works best for you and practice it regularly for the most significant benefits. If you're new to these techniques, start with shorter durations and gradually increase as you become more comfortable with the practice. Hope this helps💚

@Ivana Catanese Yes love that ratio too that you mention. I experiment and depend on personal needs and goals. Me too I start with 4 4 4 4 always and increase for 2. Love also 5 4 5 4 👌

From when I remember myself, all I was dreaming about was to become a mother.. To have a baby, a beautiful, happy, loving family. Fast forward, at the age of 22 I left Athens in Greece, the place where I was born, and came to Cyprus. I felt that I was suffocating there (very strict parents, critical, never felt enough, felt unworthy no matter what I did but this is not the point of the post...) and that everything was better, easier and simpler in Cyprus. Especially for having a family. And they are. It wasn't easy in the beginning but now I can say that it is the best decision I've made so far. I found a well-paid job as an accountant, I bought a car, I bought my apartment, everything was going really well. And by the age of 29 I got married. To a really nice, caring, loving man. Life was good. Until we started trying to get pregnant.. And we couldn't. Doctors, tests, drugs, 4 IVFs, nothing.. No matter how hard we were trying, I couldn't keep the babies. The hurt, the pain, the disappointment, the grief, the sadness, the unworthiness, all stayed inside me. I thought that I had to show up as being strong and unaffected of what was going on. To be proud, no matter what.. Until I reached to a point, that I didn't want to hear about trying again and the worst part that I am still ashamed of, I didn't want to be near children.. They were getting at my nerves! I didn't want them. I didn't want them to want me, to be around me, to show me love.. I was numb inside. I felt that there was no purpose in my life, that there was no meaning in life! I was feeling nothing. All these affected really really bad my relation with my husband but thank God we managed to stay together. I found the strength to seek help, when my vervous system was not taking it any more and the anxiety, fear of death and panic attacks were uncontrollable. I refused to take drugs and I started yoga therapy, akasha energy healing, I changed my diet. And decided to become a yoga teacher! And later, yoga therapist, because I saw the big shifts that yoga offered me. I wanted to offer this freedom to the whole world! And in 2019, I quitted my job, and became a full time yoga therapist.

#Dec 5, 2022 Kundalini Awakening Journey with Reece At last I've done the journey this morning. Although I finished it three hours ago I still feel hypnotized:0 I'm trying to get myself together. My body is still shaking, my movement it weird and I'm making an effort to catch a thought. I feel my head is totally empty. During the journey I felt many weird sensations. I had tetany in my mouth, hands and feet. I also felt my butt glued to the bed. My whole body was numbed. On the second round I was able to breath in my chest easier and deeper. Did the 2 screams and no one freaked out:)) I was worried that my dog would get scared about me. But it went peacefully:) Can't thank you enough Reece. This journey is so powerful. I'm sure its effect will continue with me for a while. Looking forward to doing your latest journey soon. And definitely will feed you back. Thank you<3

Before I get into the topic of my video, I want to shout out @Yara Randa ⁣for inspiring me to talk about this topic. This video will cover self-resistance isometrics and how it can help readjust and invigorate the nervous system so that you can dissipate stress, anxiety, lethargy, and any other non-beneficial state you might be experiencing. While the basis of the technique places emphasis on muscle contraction, this particular approach places heavy emphasis careful implementation of conscious breathwork. Self-resistance isometrics involve using one's own body to generate maximum muscle tension over 1 or several different muscle groups. The most sought after result is massive improvement to one's physical strength. However, the process allows for a number of supplemental benefits to arise. First, to perform this type of technique you have to concentrate intensely on the activity you perform. In addition, these type of contractions generate and facilitate massive amounts of nervous system energy during to exercise. As a result, this technique creates a number of changes in the practitioner. First, it strengths the mind-body connection and helps enhance concentration, focus, and control over normatively autonomic bodily systems. Second, it strengthens, activates, and energizes the nervous system. Because of the effect on nervous system energy, self-resistance isometrics can redirect energy away from physiological processes that foster non-beneficial states of being. In addition, this energy transmutes the nervous energy from fostering undesirable or detrimental emotional and mental states into power to enhance your well-being. In the video below, I'm going to outline the exact method for implementing this technique and how the breath plays a role in the effectiveness of the technique. This video was uploaded to YouTube instead of directly to this platform because the video size was above the the 100 MB limit 😆😆😆

I loved it so much and all where the body comes in the game I am 100 Yes💪. Thank you so much for sharing this practice it is beautiful to discover new things and integrate them. Powerful practice. Thank you so much 🙏🥰

I had a client with chronic arthritis (20 years +). When asked when it started she said after her abortion. The feeling of guilt was eating her alive causing pain in the surface. After our session, she said the baby came out from her uterus, kissed her on the forehead and said “i Forgive you”. Since that moment, she never felt guilt and her chronic pain went away.

I am experiencing better libido doing breathwork each morning. I do it for about 12 min each morning. I have done about 4 Journeys in the past 2 months too. I also do deep somatic repression work on myself so that plays a part in this. My body feels so much more alive, open and full of sexual energy. This has been missing for many years for me. Let's say I am very surprised and delighted this is finally shifting for me. 🥰😍

The full moon is approaching its pinnacle for this cycle. Have any of you experimented with water charged under the full moon? As an experiment, take two cuttings/starts of a plant, water one with "plain" purified water and the other with Moon water. I first ran this experiment 3 years ago and have been convinced to drink this every 28 days

Love this Kevin. Energies are so strong right now. I did it just with water and clearing the crystals. Thank you so much for sharing this it's the magic of the full moon💃

As we navigate the transformative times on our planet, it has never been more important to tap into the energy of the heart. The heart holds the key to so much wisdom, love, and compassion, and I believe that our collective journey toward the heart is essential for personal growth, healing, and the betterment of our world. That is why I created the "Journey of the Heart" Breathwork Journey, as a way for each of us to step into the knowledge of the heart and connect with our inner selves in a deep and meaningful way. I hope that this experience has provided every one of you who could attend this session on Tuesday, with an opportunity to connect with your heart and tap into its infinite wisdom. In these times of uncertainty, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected, but I believe that by coming together and connecting with our hearts, we can create a world filled with love, compassion, and understanding. Once again, I extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to every one of you for being a part of this Heart remembering the journey. Your presence and participation have created a warm and loving energy that will stay with me always.🙏 I hope that every one of you received exactly what meant to be and if there is anything I can do for you to support you further with integration, my space is always open. With love, gratitude, and appreciation to all of you for showing up and keep breathing and evolving for leveling up the energy of your being and the energy of the entire Planet. My beyond gratitude and aporeciation to @Brian Kelly for holding this space, seeing not just me but all of us and for having an magical opportunity to serve in this space. Hey Tribe ❤️😍 I have been looking for the book Brian mentioned about healing the 5 primary trauma imprints. By Sovereign Freedom. But I can not find it. Does any one know how to find this book or other great sources for similar deepening of the subject? Much appreciated ❤️ Thank you 😊 I had the most beautiful experience doing the breath work journey on this subject. And I really feel a deeper level of healing in me. I am thinking to repeat it every 2 weeks until I no longer resonate with any of those imprints and have it completely cleared in my system. I am not sure how many rounds it takes. Maybe it’s already done! I feel super great. But in my experience lasting healing takes some maintenance to unhold ❤️ and these wounds are just so massive and collectively shared by almost all of us. I recognize these traumas in my students now. And see straight to the root. My compassion is so strong, and I am so grateful for this opportunity to heal myself and pay it forward to others by vibrating s higher harmonic to them in my presence ❤️ I do believe we can in fact heal the world 🙏🏻 Big hugs Halle

Namaste everyone! I'm preparing a TBJ on the 6 main emotions (fear, sadness, anger, happiness, disgust & surprise) and I was wondering if any of you ever thought about which breathing pattern is linked to which emotion (the main ones but also the others). I know that some actors do use the breath amongst other things to enter different emotional stated, such as the troup Adi Shakti in India* but I can't find a description of these breath patterns anywhere. Here are my instinctive takes on these - fear: rapid, shallow breath through the mouth coming from rapid vibrations of the upper abdomen (kind of similar to puppy breath in pranayama but more stressed) - sadness: rapid and quite shallow inhale in few sniffs through the nose, letting go with the exhale through the mouth. [This makes even more sense when the nose is getting congested while crying] - anger: active inhale and exhale in the chest, quite deep - happiness: slow and quite deep breath through the nose (relaxed satisfaction) or through the mouth (activated joy) into the belly, passive exhale - disgust: breathing in the chest while contracting of the throat (like Ujjahi Pranayama) - surprise: short and deep inhale, passive exhale, all through the mouth How do these sound to you? And what would be your take on this? Hari Om Tat Sat! Hanuman * "Breath & Emotion Adishakti has evolved a purely physical craft for the stimulation of emotion and psychological expression. As breath is the physical expression of thought and emotion, it implies that a particular emotion has a particular pattern of breath. In Koodiyattam practice there existed the knowledge of 8 patterns of breath corresponding to the 8 emotions mentioned in the classical Sanskrit treatise on performance, the Natya Shastra. It is apparent that this codification emerges from a study of breath behaviour in everyday life. In this session, participants would be taught the 8 patterns of breath for the 8 emotions of Koodiyattam and to explore the various degrees of emotions to communicate even the subtleties of heightened emotions. The participants would start discovering the movement of the facial muscles, eyes for every emotion and learn how to naturally shape or carve the face with a backing of pure breath." https://adishaktitheatrearts.com/training/

@Rafael Yedid And so it is💪💪💪😃

Trigger warning involving sexual violation I had done the 5 Trauma Journey and I completed the offering Brian so generously shared with us a couple days. The 9D Trauma journey. It felt pretty gentle in comparison to the first experience. I felt amped up and clear energy and lots of love and inspiration for what I want to create in life. I was feeling a lot of unintegrated emotions from a medicine journey a few days before and it helped to settle my system and to prepare for a meeting with a love of mine. So a few hours after the journey I was interacting with and making love with this partner and deep in the middle of hours of connection, one of his actions triggered me to begin to cry and weep suddenly. And I had flashes of a repressed sexual trauma that happened on my 24th birthday, 13 years ago. That night I went out to drink at a place in the middle of Laos by myself. I woke up the next morning in a strangers hut, naked, with a man I had never seen before. And I remembered nothing. I always assumed I was drugged and filled in the blanks with my imagination. And I've had some inklings over the last 13 years that THAT event is tied to a lot of needs around sexual healing and feeling safe in general in my body and able to express myself. And SO. . .2 nights ago after having done the breathwork journey I had this moment where I was weeping and I had flashbacks I'd never seen of the man and what happened to me that night. I began to choke and relived it a little but thanks to the breathwork I quickly began to tell myself I was safe, to dissolve the trauma in the cells of my DNA and release it and I was filled with love and compassion for myself but also the man from that night. It was like I was right there in the breathwork journey going through the releases Brian led us through. And as I felt held in the current moment by myself and my lover, I was able to move through and continue feeling safe with him and then used the bubble of light at the end of the night to anchor in the immense love and peace and surrender and safety I felt within myself - around sex and intimate connection - all of it. And it feels like there's likely more to unravel and integrate and I'm SO STOKED around the sexual healing that took place.

@Monica Benedetto 100% and I admire you for your courage and strength to speak about that. ❤️❤️❤️

today I coached my first Breathwork Journey and I am still flying. There is room for improvement, technically I was very challenged, and now understand the purpose of using a microphone and headphones. I was soooooo far out of my comfort zone. I did some practice sessions several times this morning, recording myself on zoom and playing it back. It is weird watching it back, the judgments running through my head, so unkind! I did it!!! It feels amazing! Thank you fellow pod 12 members, you made this experience a pleasure to lead.

    Awww so celebrating you dear🙏❤️❤️

I couldn't believe, I fall asleep or probably not asleep but I lost the count of the breath, I stop breathing even with the powerful voice of Brian during the journey after the second hold. I was concerne so I did this journey again the next day and same thing, I guess, I stop breathing, I do not know where I went, there was stillness.I came back conscience after the 4 hold. I did it again the next day, I stay awake ( finally) . Stillness, not too much coming up. I dive deep but did so much breathwork and breakthrough that it seem very quite lately. I feel peace and my heart open to love. Thank you Brian.

This is beautiful and we always receive exactly what we need. And it's deeply important to trust the body and what the body needs too as we have such a beautiful intelligence that our body is. Your body was guiding you to peace and stillness by telling you you need rest and this is the way you can tap into the stillness. I celebrate this outcome and stillness, peace, that you receive. So beautiful dear Brigitte❤️❤️🙏Sending love🙏

I wanted to make sure I was clear on the type of breathing that creates increased CO2 tolerance. In the Breathwork Workshop Lecture video, Brian mentions the different between parasympathetic breathing and sympathetic breathing. He mentioned that parasympathetic breathing relaxes, enhances digestion and is usually slow. Likewise, I believe that he mentioned that slow breathing increases CO2 tolerance (along with breath holds). So am I correct to assume that parasympathetic breathing also enhances CO2 tolerance?
