Hello community members, if you are new to the skool platform, here are a couple tips to help you get the most of your experience here. *** HOW TO EARN POINTS *** Most communities have what the call "gamified" options where the platform is set up so that you can earn points to move up levels and it houses a leaderboard. In order to gain points. OTHER PEOPLE have to either give you a like (the 👍thumbs up under your post or comments). In order to get likes, you can: Create a Post Reply to a post Reply to comments on a post. All three of those give other people the chance to award you a like. You can like your own posts, comments, or reply activities, but you will not earn points for liking your own activities. Please note that these points only apply to the individual communities you are in. *** HOW TO EARN A FLAME NEXT TO YOUR NAME *** The Flame symbol 🔥 can be earned after completing 30 days in a row of 10 activities or more. What constitutes an activity? You create a post You reply to a post You reply to a comment. You like someone else's post/reply/comments Please note the calendar day for the tracking of your activities is based on the UTC time zone. At the time of this writing, day roll over occurs at 5pm Pacific/8pm Eastern Also note that any days with no activities or less than 10 daily activities removes your flame and resets the 30 day accrual period. These activities are accounted for all across Skool and do not need to be accumulated in any one community. Do you need a flame? Not necessarily, it doesn't give you any additional benefits besides a flame symbol next to your name. You can find your activity chart on your own profile by clicking on your profile picture in the upper right corner on the website or bottom right on the Skool app and selecting profile. The bar that shows little boxes of green will indicate your activity for the last 365 days. (See the 1st photo below) A quick way to get your 10 activities if you wish to do that is to like 10 posts or comments right away or pick 5 posts and comments and give them both a like and a comment.
