What's Your Favorite Dating Story?

My favorite date story is my parents' first date. When they were in high school, my moms friend and my dads friend were a couple. They decided to set my parents on a blind date. Both of my parents agreed to meet on Halloween. Neither of them showed up for the blind date. They met that night at the roller rink, not knowing that they were each other's blind date. Things went well, and they decided to go to the malt shop after roller skating. In walks the couple that set them up. They came over to see how the date was going and realized they were destined to meet that night.
Success Means Nothing If You Are Lonely
Sometimes being alone feels easier than trying to date or have a successful relationship. You don’t have to compromise. You don’t have to explain. You get your space. But you’re also missing connection. Someone to check in, celebrate with, and to witness your life. Loving partnership provides co-regulation with when things get hard. Healthy relationships don’t just feel good. They support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. They make you stronger. The problem is that the people you dated weren’t aligned. It’s easy to get jaded when your experiences haven’t matched your intentions. But if you started looking for love, that means part of you still wants it. Still believes in it. So let’s bring that part back to the surface. What would your ideal relationship feel like? Comment below and name it. Speak it into existence. That’s how it begins. #datinghelp #relationshiphelp #soulmate

I have been happily single for 1 1/2 years now. I do miss the connection a relationship brings. I have been focusing on building relationships with family and friends. I want someone that has similar interested as I do, to be able to go out and walk in the woods, have long beach days, exploring new areas, discovering great restaurants, stores or places to have fun, have great discussions about topics that people try to avoid, (politics, religion, spirituality) and be able to see each other's point of view.

@Dawn Bennett sometimes I feel like this has become my soul's purpose in life, connecting souls and connecting with people.
