How to check if IRS receive my tax form?
Hi, I just filed 1120/5472 form to IRS. I am wondering how to check if IRS receive my tax form? Also, how do we know if there is anything wrong, will they inform us? I don't want to get any penalty for it.

@Lucas Moura Hi Lucas, maybe what you said applies to form 1040NR. Form 1120/5472 is a different thing altogether. Nonresidents cannot e-file form 1120/5472, only mail or fax.
efax service recommendation
I need to fax 1120 proforma + 5472 to IRS from Brazil. I have heard that one could use an efax service instead of mailing the froms? Is this true? Anyone recommends an efax service that is reliable?
IRS fax dpi 300 or higher
Hi, I just sent 1120 proforma + 5472 by efax. However, I couldn't find any information about dpi used there, nor on any other fax service. The IRS instructions are to send the fax in 300 dpi or higher. Do people really resize their information return pdf's? Should I send resized copy or am I good? 🤔 Any input appreciated 🙏

As far as I know DPI is a measure of dots per inch a printer will print on the paper. It is not a feature of your PDF file. In other words, resizing your PDF won't affect DPI.

Principal Country(ies) Where Business is Conducted on Form 5472
Hi, I’ve watched several videos about filling out Form 5472 for a Foreign-Owned U.S. Disregarded Entity, but as a digital nomad and IT consultant, I’m still a bit confused about what the IRS expects for "Line 1o – Principal country(ies) where business is conducted." Should I list: 1. The countries where my clients are located (which would be the US), or 2. The countries where I was physically present while performing the work (which would be the NL, BE, FR, DE, and a few others)? Unfortunately, the official guidelines don’t provide clarity on this question.

I have a similar question but about "Part I Reporting Corporation, box 1.n: Country(ies) under whose laws the reporting corporation files an income tax return as a resident". I have a foreign owned disregarded entity (single member LLC) so I'm not sure what to put here. Since it is a disregarded entity, the "reporting corporation" doesn't file income tax returns. The LLC income is taxed at the level of the individual who owns the LLC. So I suppose the best answer is N/A but I don't know if N/A is an acceptable answer in the eyes of the IRS. Anyone knows?

On the video you posted at 26:43, Jason states that he put France on box 1.n since "in this case the LLC, the business, is a tax resident of France and is reporting all the LLC income and expenses in France." In my case, as a Brazilian tax resident, I need to report and pay taxes on my US LLC capital distributions but I do this within my individual tax return; I don't have to file a separate business tax return for my US single member LLC. Thus it just seems wrong to write Brazil on box 1.n I'm lost here, any help would be appreciated.
