Hi. Can anyone advise me on the following please. So I received a email saying somethings changed on credit file, when I checked it says default notice entered on 30.11.25, says it’s for Vodafone £92 from 3yrs 8 months ago. When I click on the click it sends me to Vodafone website to pay which I’m defo not doing. Firstly Ive lived at my currently property for over 4yrs, no contact made and tbh I know nothing about this. Secondly I don’t know why it’s just landed on my file now?! I don’t have a CCJ for it which tells me they probably don’t have the original contract etc or it’s been put on by DCA possibly Lowell’s who are always sending letters but I don’t open them. Everytime I deal with something another prick pops up with something else. What’s the best way to deal with it, is it to appeal with equifax? And if so what grounds? What’s my argument and the best approach? I’d appreciate any advice 🙏😊

@Rafal Suliga where do get these templates and such in depth info/responses from? Is there more than one bot available on here? I think I’m doing something wrong lol

@Dave DimeBar Thanks 😊 I’d not been on for a while so I’ll check it out 😊❤️ They’re like vermin these lot, every time I think I’m sorted another comes out the woodwork! I’m no longer nervous dealing with it, I’m more pissed off cos they’re wasting my time! 😂

N244 application to set aside CCJ
Hi everyone, I made 2 separate N244 applications around a month ago to set aside 2 CCJs I was completely unaware of. I haven’t heard anything and when I call the number they don’t give you any info. How long does it take to process does anyone know? How long have others waited to hear back with a date?

@Checkmate Attendee Oh dear sounds like he weren’t ready for the smoke! 😝 I can imagine the shit that came out of his mouth! Gutted I wernt there, I could have asked why the DCAs dropped my alleged £17k debt if they’re fully legit cos that’s defo an amount for them to fight for 😊

Car ownership
Does anyone know how to avoid parking charges or clamping due to debt? Does one register the car in a different name? Is there a video to watch on this?

I put my car in my sons name to be on the safe side and he didn’t even drive! Lol Do what @Abigail White suggests but also it’s definitely a consideration to just change owner and log book etc 😊
