📌 Lección: Paragraph Organisation ✍️ Antes: bdac ✅ Después: b, d, a, c 🤖 Nota: 5/5 → 5/5 💡 He aprendido: El párrafo sigue el orden Point → Develop → Example → Mini-conclusion; al párrafo 1 le falta el ejemplo y al 2, la miniconclusión.

📌 Lección: Incomplete thoughts ✍️ Antes: Social media helps people stay in touch. This is because we are not capable of catching up with our acquaintances, we can achieve knowledge about almost each aspect of other countries. Online courses are flexible because people who take these types of course don't have to be depending on timetables and, in this way. They could make their decisions about when and how to study. Many tourists visit the town in summer which means that all the city are, at this year'moment, very crowded. It is well-known that reading has lots of benefits such as the opportunity of learning new vocabulary in an immersive format. This is because when we are reading we can understand how using words in a proper way. ✅ Después: Social media helps people stay in touch by allowing them to maintain relationships with acquaintances they cannot regularly meet in person. It also provides opportunities to learn about everyday life in other countries through the experiences people share. Online courses are flexible because students are not restricted to fixed timetables. This allows them to decide when and how to study, making it easier to balance their education with other commitments. Many tourists visit the town in summer, which means that it becomes particularly crowded at this time of year, putting pressure on local services and public spaces. It is widely recognised that reading helps learners expand their vocabulary by exposing them to words in context. This allows them to understand not only what words mean but also how they are used, making it easier to incorporate them into their own writing.
Mobile phones have many disadvantages for students. For example, they affect concentration, sleep and relationships. Moreover, a lot of students use them in class, play games, etc. Some people think phones can be useful for learning. However, this is not true in most cases. To sum up, these are very important problems for young people nowadays. ✍️ Tarea 1.

-Incomplete sentences: 1. For example, they affect concentration, sleep and relationships. 2. Moreover, a lot of students use them in class, play games, etc. 3. However, this is not true in most cases. 4. To sum up, these are very important problems for young people nowadays. -Relationships: ¿POR QUÉ PASA?: Students are used to spending all the day on screens ¿Y ENTOMCES QUÉ? and there is a lack of face to face interactions. ¿CÓMO AFECTA A SU VIDA?: Students need to develop their communicative competence and they can not develop it because if they are all the time on screens, the won't be able to make healthy relationships. -Párrafo entero: Using mobile phones at school can make students feel that they do not need to interact face to face. However, it is not really about how often they interact; it is about the difficulties they may face when they need being communicative confident and building healthy relationships. Spending breaks looking at screens not gives them opportunities to practise expressing themselves and listening to others. Schools should give students a chance to develop their communicative competence through phone-free breaks and conversations, helping them learn to manage situations such as resolving disagreements or working with classmates who have different points of view.
📌 TASK 1 — Say it deeper
Si acabas de entrar, tu primera tarea es esta. No hace falta gramática nueva. Hace falta profundidad. 1️⃣ Ve al Classroom → ✍️ Writing → Complex Ideas (5 min). Ahí te enseño lo que más nota el examinador: si tu idea tiene segunda capa o se queda en lo obvio. 2️⃣ Calentamiento — elige una de las tres frases del vídeo y hazla más profunda: ① Social media is bad because people waste time. ② People recycle to help the planet. ③ He was angry about the messy kitchen. 3️⃣ La de verdad — abre tu último writing y copia una frase tuya que sea flat. Test: si esa frase la podría escribir cualquiera sin pensar (X is good because Y), es esa. Arréglala igual. (Si no tienes ningún writing todavía, escribe una frase plana sobre tu ciudad y arréglala. El viernes ya tendrás writing.) Para las dos, la fórmula del vídeo: It's not really about [the obvious thing] — it's about [what's underneath]. Si te atascas, tira de las cinco preguntas: and then what? · why, really? · at what cost? · who pays? · really about what?

Recycling makes us feel that we are doing our bit for the planet. However, it is not really about how much we recycle, it is about whether that sense of satisfaction stops us from making more significant changes in our harmful habits.
