Dig Into Your Bible To Find Your July Verse
Welcome to our July theme: A Simple Summer! If you haven't yet had a chance, feel free to scroll down to find our monthly coaching call where we dive into everything that we'll cover this month. The goal is to slow down and take the summer in. Not with a FOMO attitude or feeling the need to cram it all in, but rather listening to the call of Jesus to rest and be still. On our call, Lindsay had a wonderful idea to find a scripture that resonated with her about slowing down and rest. Because I love this idea so much, I thought we'd open it up to the group! What is a verse that resonates with you about rest and creating simplicity in your life? Share your verse with us in the comments! As we move into July, let your verse be your foundation. Meditate on it every day. Let it guide you in the little and big decisions you make each day. Let's have a Simple Summer!!

I kept coming back to this familiar verse. I repeated it about 50 times & then I started to wonder exactly what does it mean to “be still”? I didnt have my study Bible, so I was scrolling on my phone. I read this: God invites us to be still—as echoed in verses like Psalm 46:10—not for inactivity, but to help us release control. By quieting our striving, we surrender anxiety, clear our minds to make wise choices, and create space to deeply experience His presence, guidance, and peace. So quit trying to do everything on my own, so that I can experience Gods presence, guidance, & PEACE! Sounds lovely…now to create that space for stillness! Makes perfect sense why Satan loves to see us so busy. When it’s so important to us to have ownership & pride in all the things WE are able to accomplish! Instead, it should always be a priority to live & move in Him!

Rest is always difficult for me. Usually it’s a hard stop when God says enough & I physically am unable to move. Looking forward to a restful & peaceful July, summer, & beyond. I’m working nights this week & wont be available to join in the social. Hopefully someone will have a double scoop of ice cream…one for me!
💜 Selah Social Club Cancelation
Friends, I wanted to let you know that I’ll be cancelling this Friday's Selah Social Club gathering. Thank you for your understanding and grace. While I'm disappointed that we won't be meeting this month, I'm already looking forward to gathering together again soon. Keep an eye out for details on our July Selah Social Club event—I can't wait to connect with you then! With love, Holly

Worked for me. I was really feeling torn about hanging with my friends or hanging with my family.
How Important Are Electrolytes?
Staying hydrated isn't just about drinking more water — it's about helping your body hold onto that water. That's where electrolytes come in. Electrolytes (like sodium, potassium, and magnesium) are minerals that act like little magnets for water inside your body. Without them, the water you drink doesn't stick around long enough to do its job. Sodium is the most important one. It controls how much fluid stays in your blood and tissues. You lose it through sweat, which is why longer or more intense workouts can leave you feeling depleted. The good news? Most of us are already getting enough electrolytes through a normal diet. You don't need to be loading up on sports drinks or electrolyte supplements for everyday activity. Save those for long, sweaty workouts when you're genuinely losing a lot through sweat. Your body is also incredibly smart — it regulates hydration automatically by triggering thirst, adjusting how your kidneys work, and balancing your blood pressure behind the scenes. Here's the takeaway: ●Drink water consistently throughout the day ●Eat whole foods (they naturally contain electrolytes) ●For long or intense workouts, pay more attention to sodium replenishment ●Don't overthink the supplements — real food and water go a long way I'm curious to know, do you add electrolytes supplements to you water?

My fav are the Organika electrolytes. They are clean & have yummy flavors. I’ll bring some samples to try picnic. I am also picky about my water. Hoping to one day soon purchase an alkaline water machine. I’ll bring my water tomorrow as well.
Pour Into Your People
Reach out to one sister in Christ with a simple, sincere message of encouragement or gratitude. Text, call, or go for coffee with her and let her know how much you value who she is, and how meaningful your friendship is. No agenda — just love. Then pray for her by name and ask the Lord to bless your friendship. After you've completed this week's Love In Action challenge comment DONE!

Love Jesus. Love my family. Love people. Love nature. Love chocolate. Pretty much in that exact order.
