Few unusual things I got from the shops
I love to try new things and get excited when I happen to pop into a shop that has got things I haven't eaten for a long time. So I brought how: 1) Ox tail - ma partner is South African and he is going to make slow cooked ox tail stew. Can't wait. 2) Frozen sea buckthorn berries - extremely high in vitamin C, super for the skin and immune support but extremely sour too. I will use it if anyone starts to get sick in the house. 3) Real black currant syrup - not for me but if anyone wants a sweet drink or a fancy dizzy drink I will use that instead of chemical cocktail into he shops. 4) Goats cheese - lately I am just obsessed so I need it again for salads, with eggs, stuffed the chicken breasts with it, popped it in the soup for creaminess and flavour, on the sliced pear for a snack etc etc 5) Valerian tea in a bag - sticky but sometimes needed for a good sleep. Smells like old socks !! What have you bought lately that you haven't tried before or isn't exactly a staple? Inspire us to try :)

I love Valerian, so good to relax ๐Ÿ˜Œ. Never tried oxtail, I don't think I ever will
Weird and cool trick to try!
A tiny pinch of Himalayan or Celtic sea salt in something sweet like hot chocolate, chai, turmeric latte or desserts can completely change the flavour. It doesnโ€™t make it salty, it actually brings out the sweetness so you often need less sugar and feel more satisfied.

Interesting, I might try it with my chai
20-26 April: So Is the Coffee Good Or Bad
I am not against coffee but I want you to be aware of how you use coffee. Commonly I see that people donโ€™t think much about their coffee consumption, but this is something I want you to pay attention to. For many, coffee is not just a morning habit or an energy boost. It is a stimulant that affects your stress response, sleep quality, blood sugar, digestion, and overall energy regulation. When it is used regularly, it can quietly shape your health and how your body feels throughout the entire day. I often see coffee being used to compensate for something, to patch something up, or as a shortcut instead of actually listening to what the body is needing. Coffee sensitivity does not always look obvious It can show up as: - Feeling wired but tired - but it can be missed because you might blame it on stress - Changes in energy and moods - are you blaming hormones - Changes in sleep, even if you fall a sleep ok - Needing coffee just to feel norma - Digestive challenges and cravings - do you use it to go to the toilet So a lot of people think they tolerate coffee wellโ€ฆ when in reality it may be influencing their nervous system and energy more than they realise. This is why I place so much focus on awareness first. If you do not understand what is driving your energy patterns, it is very easy to stay stuck in a cycle of stimulation and crash without knowing why. So again, awareness first, action second. I have had all sorts of phases in my life - on and off, push and pull. I love the smell and the taste but I know I have to limit it because my busy mind can otherwise just run wild and I don't get to sleep. Whats your journey with coffee? Is it love, is it hate? For Premium members I have put together: - A full PDF guide that explains all the effects of coffee, what is happening in the body and why - A coffee alternative guide explaining what drinks are good and why, you get some recipes and product recommendations too.

I just drink coffee for the taste, it doesnโ€™t give me an energy boost. My energy comes from motivation to get things done. Coffee before bed helps me sleep

Where do you want your money to go?
Where do you want your money to go - towards inflammation or towards health? The reality is, every time you shop, youโ€™re shaping your healthโ€ฆ and the food industry. Do you want to see more clean, nourishing foods on the shelves? Or do you keep handing your money to processed foods and helping that industry grow? Ask yourself this honestly. Look into your pantry and fridge, are you supporting your own health, or making the processed food industry richer? Thrive Again hub is more than just the clean eating community, it is a movement where we stand for better health for everyone.

Since hitting 40 i have noticed a few things, deep fried food doesnt not go down well. I can't eat it without being sick after. I don't crave chocolate anymore and I am eating more veggies and actually enjoying them. I have never been the healthiest eater but as I have gotten older I am definitely eating more healthier
