Thankful Thursday
I've been dealing with a lot of uncertainty lately, so I've been focused on being more present in the present. As part of my quest for inner peace, I've been listening to a lot of talks and guided meditations on the Insight Timer app. (Brilliant app by the way, if you, like me, are on the quest to become more grounded and connected to a higher power than myself) It was during one of these talks that the book 'The Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle was mentioned as a game-changer for spiritual awakening. I remember making a mental note to read that book. So this morning, I was lingering outside my house after a short walk, and suddenly felt the urge to cross the road and stand in the sun for a bit before going back inside. So I did only to find piles of books lying behind the bushes on the pavement. It isn't the first time I've seen piles of books put outside for passersby to take. I was just about to leave when my eye caught a book by its colour, so I pulled it out of the pile. It was Eckhart Tolle's book 'The Power of Now'! I felt so grateful for how the universe, random coincidence, or whatever it is, often shows me what I need, making me feel more connected and appreciative of life's small surprises. One day you’ll wake up and all of a sudden the weight of the last few weeks, months or even years will be lifted off your shoulders. You can’t control when that day comes; all you can do is stay strong and trust that it is coming. Then, just like that, you’ll rediscover your light, you’ll embrace your inner warrior, and the whole game will change. Do not lose hope, please believe there are a thousand beautiful things waiting for you. Sunshine comes to all who feel rain. x have a great day ✨💛☀️

Morning routine
Hey ladies. I just wanted to talked about my morning routine to get in my protein for the day. When I first get up, on my days off, I wait about an hour before making my coffee, drinking up some water. Approx 20oz. Then I prep breakfast for me and Adeline. My usual go to is Kodiak waffles and few sausage links, and some fruit if it's on hand. Adeline had get own pancakes this morning and some banana. ~Approx 18g protein My coffee is 12oz white coffee, with level 1 protein(salted peanut butter) , collagen(vanilla) , and been using sugar free Twix creamer. ~Approx 46g protein My days I work, I will wake up and get things together for work drinking my water. Making coffee to go. And when I get to work I'll have a clear phormula 1 drink with about 20oz water with a protein bar. ~Approx 44g protein Drinking water first after waking up had been a big game changer for me. Most morning I don't feel so much like I'm dragging. Even if I'm tired, the water first is very helpful. In a previous post I talked about or bodies craving water first. I always thought "whatever" soooo I'm here to tell you, drink that damn water first! Lol Love you all, Happy Tuesday!
