You can’t say I love to read but I don’t like the letters!?!
You can’t say “I love to read” but “I don’t like the letters!?!” The fundamentals, y’all. I’m reading your messages — and I hear the excitement, the questions, the eagerness for what’s next. But before we run ahead, we need to get solid on the fundamentals first. So let’s build the foundation together. What do you want to master this year — the core skills or understandings that everything else builds on? What feels essential for you right now? Drop your 👇 in the comments so I can make sure we’re starting where it matters most. #pleasureisascience

Be noticeable
One of the things I marvel at is how everything on this planet wants to be noticed, and how everything has it’s preferred way to be noticed. From the way the flowers bloom to attract bees, to the way the birds sings songs, to the drama of the ocean, calling all who play in it. It’s shameless! Why do we (humans) shame being noticed? In what ways do you like to be noticed? Feel free to share a photo of you being noticeable well as your thoughts!

I love being noticed. And I was taught it was dangerous to be noticed. I learned it was dangerous and shameful for my body to be noticed through events that happened to me. I learned it was dangerous to be noticed for my intellect because of the bullying I experienced. I learned it was better to be small and safe than loud and bashed constantly. But I LOVE to be noticed lol. I'm such an exhibitionist! I've learned to own that about myself and to embrace the fact that I love being seen. I think it's why I love public speaking so much. See me dammit! 😂😂😂

@Mackenzie Morgan thank you 🙏🏾
Playroom
I just recently revisited the 50 Shades of Grey series. I read the entire series while out on break. It always makes me want to build my own red room with all of the gadgets and pleasure items. If you’ve seen the movies or read the books, what was your favorite part of the red room? My favorite was the suspension bar and wall. My imagination runs wild when I think of all the ways my partner and I could put that to use.

While I know that relationship was problematic on SO many levels, and the representation of BDSM was completely off....the "toxic" in my enjoyed the books and the movies LOL. I loved the red room. So many toys and things to play with. I've got some free time....maybe I'll watch them again LOL. I might get some inspiration.
Pleasure in Mundane Pain?
Hello Pleasure Cronies! I would love some advice on how to breakthrough a pleasure constraint for me. I have a period of time coming up (starting this afternoon) where I need to spend a lot of time doing tedious work on the computer such as spreadsheets and the like. Unfortunately, I’m currently the only person who can do this work, but it’s extremely painful for me. It makes my skin itch and my fingers ache. I greatly enjoy almost every other form of mundane work whether it’s spending days on my hands and knees weeding or designing marketing materials on my computer. This particular work just makes me want to explode. But I do need to do it. I can’t pass my landscaping contractors license without breaking through this barrier. Does this resonate with anyone? If so, I would love suggestions on how to make this feel overflowing with pleasure!

Music helps me. Sensual music. Sexy music. I try to see myself as making love to tasks I don't like. Or making the tasks my sub lol. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.

EroSomatic Curiosity 👀👀
When was the last time your body surprised you with pleasure in an unexpected place? Take a few moments to reflect on nonsexual sources of delight—like light on skin, wind, or scent—and share how they might inform your erotic map. You might want to journal about this one. We are trained to ignore these little nudges from the body.

A warm towel fresh out of the dryer lights me up. It's arousing and also creates a sense of safety and relaxation.
