Identity Beyond Performance
Some of you walked into this week already carrying pressure. Deadlines. Expectations. The mental load. The silent scoreboard in your head. But let’s reset before Monday runs you. 🤎 📖 Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Read that slowly. You are not the sum of your productivity. You are not your title. You are not the glue holding everything together. Your old identity — the one striving to prove, perform, earn, and impress — was crucified with Christ. The life you live now? It’s powered by faith. Anchored in love. Secured by sacrifice. That means: • Your worth is already settled. • Your calling flows from intimacy, not achievement. • Your confidence comes from who lives IN you, not what you accomplish for Him. This week, lead from identity — not insecurity. Work from acceptance — not for it. Mother from overflow — not exhaustion. You don’t have to perform to be chosen. You already are. Reflection for today: Where have you been measuring your value by performance instead of by Christ? Let’s walk this week rooted, not rushed. 🤎
Sometimes I find myself measuring my value by how much I can get done. Even though I no longer do to do lists, life still requires certain things. And so I am really not working on releasing that. Doing a few things at a time. Resting after those few things. Breathing deeper and committing to couch time. Allowing my nervous system to reset.
Identity Beyond Performance
You need relationship. Not another resolution. Every year we make declarations: “I’m going to pray more.” “I’m going to read my Bible consistently.” “I’m going to get closer to God.” And sometimes we stick with it. More often than not… we don’t. But your relationship with God was never meant to sit on a vision board like a quarterly goal. It was never meant to compete with your career targets, your children’s schedules, your fitness routine, or your marriage goals. It is not a resolution. It is an intentional action. Daily. Quiet. Personal. Anchoring. And this is where many high-achieving women get tripped up. You know how to execute. You know how to commit. You know how to perform. But intimacy with Christ is built on presence, not performance. Your worth is not measured by: • how productive you were today • how perfectly you led the meeting • how well-behaved your children were • how many boxes you checked Your confidence must come from who you are in Christ — not how well you performed for everyone else. Here’s your reflection for today: Have I treated my relationship with God like a goal to accomplish instead of a Person to walk with? When I “miss a day,” do I feel guilt… or do I feel hunger to reconnect? If my performance was stripped away, would I still feel secure in who I am? Be honest with yourself. This is a safe place. Then go listen (or re-listen) to this week’s episode of She Leads Boldly. Let it recalibrate you. Let it remind you that your identity is rooted in Christ — not in your résumé, your role, or your results. ✨ You are called. ✨ You are chosen. ✨ You are secure — even before you achieve. Drop one word below that describes who you are in Christ — not what you do. And if this reflection hit home, go deeper with the podcast episode and continue the conversation there.

What Does God Say About You Right Now?
This question isn’t meant to be comfortable. It’s meant to be honest. So often we ask God for more: more clarity, more peace, more direction. But this teaching invites us to pause and reflect on how we’re showing up in our relationship with Him. Not out of obligation. Not to get something. But simply because He is God, and He desires closeness with His children. 🎥 If you haven’t yet, I encourage you to listen to today’s 'She Leads Boldly' podcast episode. I talk about what happens when we lead from momentum instead of alignment, and how God lovingly invites us back when we’ve drifted (even while succeeding). https://sheleadsboldly.buzzsprout.com/ 💬 Reflection Question: What do you sense God saying about your relationship with Him right now? What might He be inviting you to lean into more? One sentence is enough. This is a safe space 🤎
What Does God Say About You Right Now?
"Let's grow together."
Monday Reset for the woman who’s tired of leading on empty…
📖 Scripture — Exodus 33:14 (NIV) “The Lord replied, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’” ✨ Reflection There was a season in my corporate leadership life when I thought rest would come after I finished everything God assigned me. But God gently showed me that His presence is not a reward for endurance. It is the source of sustainable leadership. You don’t need a better planner… You need a deeper pace with Him. Rest is alignment. 💬 Gentle question Where in your life right now are you still trying to move ahead without first sitting in God’s presence? You don’t need to push harder. You need God’s presence to lead you forward. 🤎
Rest is the ultimate revolution and rejuvenation!
Trusting God With What You Carry
This teaching invites you to reflect on what happens when we try to manage, control, or carry things God never intended us to handle alone. Together, we explore what it means to trust God more deeply in this season. Especially when answers aren’t clear, and leadership feels heavy. This is an invitation to release pressure, lean into faith, and allow God to guide you with peace and clarity.
Trusting God With What You Carry
I just had a long talk with the Spirit today about being angry about things that don't involve me and holding onto things that no longer serve me or the divine mission on my life. 🎉
