🤎 Welcome to She Leads Boldly 🤎
Before you settle in, take a moment to introduce yourself in the comments. Share your name, where you’re joining from, and one area of your life where you’re asking God to help you slow down, find peace, or lead differently — whether that’s work, marriage, motherhood, or your faith. You’re not alone here. Welcome home.
🤎 Welcome to She Leads Boldly 🤎
Happy to be here!
Wednesday Reflection
Skool Family — let’s pause here for a moment. 🤎 There’s something I said on She Leads Boldly that I keep coming back to, especially in seasons when life feels heavy: “If you’re ever questioning your purpose… ask yourself what God delivered you from. Because God doesn’t bless us just for ourselves. He made my test my testimony. My pain my purpose. My misery my ministry.” That wasn’t just a soundbite. That was lived experience. So here’s the reflection I want to invite you into today, not to recap, but to go deeper: Where are you striving instead of trusting? Be honest with yourself. - Where are you pushing, proving, performing… when God is asking you to release? - Where have you turned discipline into pressure instead of devotion? - Where are you trying to manufacture results God never asked you to carry alone? For a long time, I thought striving meant I was being faithful. But what I learned — often the hard way — is that striving is usually a signal that I’ve stepped out of God’s pace and into my own. Here’s the tension I see so often in high-achieving wives and moms (and yes, I’ve been her): - You’re capable. - You’re responsible. - You’re anointed. But you’re also tired. Spiritually dry. Emotionally stretched. Leading from empty, not overflow. And the truth? Your struggle isn’t a weakness. It’s often the very place God is shaping your ministry, your message, and your next level of obedience. Gentle prompts for you today: - What are you gripping tightly that God may be asking you to place back in His hands? - What would it look like to trust Him before you see the outcome? - How might your leadership change if it flowed from rest instead of resistance? 💭 Drop one sentence in the comments: “Right now, I’m striving with ___, and I sense God inviting me to trust Him with ___.” You’re safe here. This is a space for women who are done performing and ready to lead — from overflow, alignment, and intimacy with Christ. 🤎
Wednesday Reflection
I am being delivered from multiple titles and hats. I have been called upon to serve in many roles and I did so thinking that because I had the talent and there was a need that I should then step into it to help. But I realize now that that is not the case. That it robs people of their agency and their opportunities to grow in their spiritual walk. So I am now consolidating my various responsibilities into one and learning to share what I've learned with others.
🎥 New Teaching Available
A new short teaching is now available. This message is for anyone who’s been feeling the weight of carrying too much while leading in this season. If you haven’t watched yet, I encourage you to take a few quiet minutes and listen. Allow God to meet you right where you are. When you’re done, feel free to share one word or takeaway that stayed with you 🤎
🎥 New Teaching Available
I was not able to get either of the teachings to play.
When Rest Feels Hard to Choose
📖 Scripture: “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 💭 Reflection: Stillness can feel uncomfortable when you’re used to leading, fixing, and holding everything together. Yet God invites us to pause. ...Not as an escape, but as a way to remember who is truly in control. Stillness is not inactivity. It’s alignment. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is stop long enough to listen. 💬 Gentle Question: Where might God be inviting you to slow down or be still this week? Take your time. There’s no rush here 🤎
My workout routine is where God has called me to rest. At first I thought it was weird but then I realized how tired I have been post retreat. And I realized that my body needs time to rest and be restored from the incredible spiritual and energetic offering that we put forth last weekend. So I have committed to pampering myself with long times just resting on my couch and bubble baths and extended prayer and meditation time. It has been beautiful!
Let’s Talk About Rest (For Real)
I shared this on 'She Leads Boldly', and it’s been sitting with me ever since. If God created everything in six days and rested on the seventh, why do we believe we’re needed all seven? Sometimes our struggle with rest isn’t about time management — it’s about trust. Rest is obedience, not weakness. It’s choosing to rest in Him, not just from work. 💭 Reflection question: What keeps you from truly resting with God: fear, guilt, pressure, or pride? Drop one word or one honest sentence below. Let’s talk. 🤎
Let’s Talk About Rest (For Real)
I just went through this journey and came to this realization a couple of weeks ago. I'm revisiting Genesis and the Creation. And I'm reading from the Ethiopian Bible. The emphasis on rest and reservation can not be overstated. These were mandates for us to live long and vibrant lives. Without rest we will surely perish.
