I'm new here
Hi everyone!! My name is Vicki Foshay and I'm an RN and End-of-Life doula from Windsor, Ontario Canada. I met Lisa at a Doula conference in London Ontario and was drawn to her. I have been "working" on building my business for a couple of years and haven't had a single client. It's been more like feeling overwhelmed and lost on what direction to go. I'm looking forward to having a plan of action to follow that will be effective. I struggle with creating content on social media. I'm not experienced with how it all works and cross posting, etc but I will learn. I've been looking for someone to help me with this for some time. I guess I'm saying that I'm excited about actually moving forward instead of being embarased to report to friends that I haven't had any clients yet. Looking forward to seeing faces on the Zoom call on Monday.

I am from Ontario as well. Just 17-18 hours west. Ontario is huge. 😊 I also just joined. 🌼

Introduction
Hi everyone. I'm Stephanie. I'm a birth doula and childbirth educator in Manitoba, Canada. It started as a passion project that I decided to turn into a business about a year ago. I worked on building an Instagram account, a website, and a blog, but I feel like I'm not having traction in finding clients. I have only supported 1 mom so far, and I am wanting to make this a regular income for me.

@Stephanie Lawrence All of our health care emergencies get flown to Winnipeg or Thunder Bay. But Winnipeg is closer for us. 3.5-4 hours.

So there is the classroom and then some courses under leaderboard and then the calls. Please tell me the order and right way to consume it all, when beginning here, I want to start at the beginning and work my way thru everything I can learn,

I am from Rural Northwestern Ontario, My goal is to attend 2-3 births a month and sell 4-5 birth course a month. I would love to make $6-7000 a month. I have been a doula for 2 plus years now but things have been very slow. One birth year one, one birth year two and I just did a birth 3 weeks ago, and have 3 more booked. so things are getting busier but now where I want it yet. I am very excited to take steps towards my goals. One fun fact is that in our only little hospital there are only 125 births a year.

As I've been working through the exercises, I've realized that while birth work, education, teaching, and creating resources really light me up, the constant driving and trying to be everywhere has been draining me. I'm starting to rethink my goals and build a business that's more focused on births, course sales, virtual support, and working from home, with less travel. It feels both exciting and a little scary, but I'm looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me.
