I am grateful for the opportunity to share my peri menopause story. It started back in February of this year. If you don't think menopause psychosis isn't real, it is. It hit me hard, I spent 3 nights in the mental hospital on 3 different occasions, total black out. Drs would not do blood work, said I was schizophrenic. I had never had any mental health problems up until the age of 48 when peri hit me. It took 4 Drs and many months of anxiety, tremors and heart ache before finding a Dr that would do blood work and listen to me. I am now on progesterone and estrogen, and am healed.
