When I was 15 years old, I had a dream. I wanted to become a coach, a mentor, a teacher. I had no idea HOW I would ever achieve that dream, but life knew how. My journey led me to building self-confidence, mastering sales, and becoming an entrepreneur, only to realize I needed support and systems, and that led me to franchising. Franchising is where I spent eight years being average, stuck, stale, and going through the motions until I finally got motivated to do something about it. In my ninth year, I woke up and rapidly changed EVERYTHING. For the next couple of years, I was thinking into my results every day, getting better and better until I had mastered all parts of my business. I mastered my business by mastering MYSELF. For the next 13 years, I had something truly magical. I went on autopilot, enjoying the ride, but when I was called higher within that same business, the growth got easier and easier at each level. I had created extraordinary success in my business, but looking back, I can see that all of it was preparing me for the dream I had when I was 15 - to become a coach to all of you, to create The Zee Suite®. While starting over as an entrepreneur means starting over, I didn’t start from the same place I started as an entrepreneur when I was 25. I brought all the lessons I have learned, and more importantly, the person I have become. Today, as the CEO of The Zee Suite ®, as an entrepreneur in her first real year of business, I’m failing forward all over again, every day! And here’s what I’ve come to realize… Success in business ownership means feeling the fear and doing it anyway. We have to hear “No” and work to get “Yeses”. We have to invest money and be willing to lose it. This is what I’m living again, every day now. In March of 2025, I started coaching a small group of friends, failing forward to find my voice as a coach, developing lesson plans and ideas. Then I launched The Suite Deal in November of 2025, and it went so well that I opened enrollment in February of 2026. Then, I hired a marketing company, and I lost money. So, I started a grassroots campaign, and I started winning. Then I hired another marketing company, and again, I lost money, but I kept my head down and kept finding more of you through referrals and my own outreach. It was a DALY effort of failing forward.

I wanted to share a cool story that happened at my BNI yesterday. We combined groups for a visitor day and I sat down next to a guy I’m tight with in my chapter and another guy. I introduced myself and he said he has owned 7 automotive shops and now provides a concierge service helping people buy, negotiate and sell their cars. I’ve been thinking and telling my husband how amazing it would be if someone provided this service. We need a new car in 3 weeks as we are selling on of ours with the business. He said no problem. We both do not enjoy shopping for cars. It’s so boring 😂 I told him we’re heading to New Jersey next week, so we can find a time then. He asked where and I said, Brick as we are staying with close friends. He goes, no way. He graduated from Brick High School in 1964. I’ve met countless people from New Jersey and no one has EVER been. This has been happening more and more lately and I’m LOVING it. I also received an unexpected check from our old insurance company for $995. I was manifesting $1000, so I think that’s close enough!

Mike and I are booked out 6 weeks now, raised our prices, and we had to decrease our marketing spend AGAIN. 😁

Our next week is FULL with activities, from work and no school — to holiday celebrations and seeing family and friends. It’s nonstop. But this year, I’m slowing down, taking some breaths, and focusing on gratitude. Before big conversations and big Events, I’m focused on having FUN and not being perfect. I have a feeling this week is going to be much more enjoyable than it has been in years past. Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to all!
