Which Platform Do You Recommend
I currently sell only on eBay. Selling on eBay only and Seriously considering adding another platform: Poshmark, Depop, or Mercari. Not brave enough for WhatNot. I am part-time, not technology savvy, and my store is only about 250 items—primarily men’s clothes, purses/bags, shoes. What other platforms are you using besides eBay? Which would you recommend and why? Pros and cons in your opinion.

We're Back 🍿
Sorry for the delay, but I wanted to take some time to figure out the best direction for this group. And I really like to start figuring out a plan to help people grow their businesses online. Whether through the use of integrating AI, helping people start resell on whatnot and helping people find inventory to source. Once I get a schedule put together, I'd like to hold a weekly class or some kind of training to help people take the next step in their business. Feel free to comment down below on what you would like to see and what you need help with currently.

Love hearing this excited to see the group back and moving with purpose! Weekly classes sound like a great idea. I'd love to learn more about using AI for listing and sourcing. Let’s grow together!

Storage Units - my experience
I have a new source that will call me when his customer is at 91 days unpaid. I look at the unit and give an offer. I touched base with my CPA and asked some questions. If I buy a unit that has some items that should be thrown out or are not what I want to list, can a percentage of the purchase be written off? Yes Should I record the mileage from the unit to the dump? Yes Should I determine what an item I want for office supplies is valued, and then write it off? Yes What I like about storage units is the variety, finding vintage items, and knowing that it all goes towards COG, cost of supplies needed, and mileage to help my STR and taxes. Here are some gems I have found. Vintage pedestal Bose speakers, vintage turntables, new dishes in packaging, great STR clothing, records, cd, cameras, the totes the items are in, NIB window treatment, purses, shoes, bed sheets and comforters. I like to be an everything seller with over 50% of my items being clothing, purses, hats, and shoes. A storage unit is perfect. One stop shop. You just need the patients to go through it all, clean up many items, a trailer to haul it, and storage for everything you decide to keep.
