Shipped out the day she ordered With a free gift Buyer only reads title and buys item... Admitted to not looking at pics of tags nor written description box with dimensions in it. (Armpit to armpit 20") She received item But wanted a YS or youth small (YS fits a child about 7 years old) The tags say small Not youth small The dimensions are in the written description box She paid 5.00 for a hoodie (I mark it down til it sells because its kids) Kids sell terrible slow Heres her response after several messages What do you think?

I had a similar experience last month. Buyer clearly didn’t look at any pictures except the cover photo and didn’t read the description. Then sent me an angry message the item was misrepresented and wanted to return. It’s the only time I’ve ever replied to a customer using my Mom voice instead of a customer service voice.🤣. I pointed out they obviously didn’t look at pics or read description. Said I’d happily accept their return with a reminder my business policy is customer pays return shipping. Haven’t heard from them since.
Use Caution With Some on Here
From time to time we get people in the group that do not have the best intentions. They come here, some with fake names hoping to snag victims for their schemes. There are actually people who train others to join groups like ours in search of unsuspecting resellers who are unaware of the traps being laid. Don’t fall for their schemes. Remember, eBay will cancel your account for drop shipping. They don’t play with that drop shipping crap and neither should you. Be weary of anyone trying to get your attention with vague answers to your questions or those who want to get you off site via text, chat, email or phone. If you are suspicious ask one of the senior members of the group or Beau. We know what to look for and can help keep you out of trouble.

Totally agree and I believe we had one of those people just this week in our group.
How do you SKU?
Everything sellers how do you SKU your items? By category (clothes/electronic/home) by purchase date or something else? I was small enough to keep items grouped by category and didn’t need a SKU. Outgrown my current space and moving everything into boxes on shelves. Thanks for any input.

@Jerry Wilson This pic looks like your storage space is WAY more than mine🤣. I ended buying 3 racks and boxes. Then did exactly the same as you recommended. Just spent 8 hours today bagging items and filling boxes.

Thanks everyone for your inputs. Took me a couple of days but inventory is now in bins on shelves in sequential order. I now have room again to expand!!

Area 5 for Improvement -Taking Down Items and Re-listing Them
This is a controversial area for many on eBay. But I was given specific direction and reasoning by this eBay employee. He stated that items begin to go stale after only 90 days. He hinted that items appear dormant after 180 days. The only way to combat this is to end the item, REWORK the item and then list it again. The key is to REWORK the item before listing it again. Do NOT simply end and re-list. Use AI to rework the title and description as well as make changes to the Item Specifics and price. Then list the item again. This was something that my son and I were already doing and have been seeing results. We are now more aggressive with the practice by ending items quicker than before. This is now something we do as part of our daily routine. Items no longer become stale as we rework them before they are 180 days old.

@David Frisina I recommend you watch the videos in eBay Academy. It covers areas such as: shipping, business policies, editing listings, etc. I found it beneficial when starting out. https://community.ebay.com/t5/Announcements/Welcome-to-eBay-Academy/ba-p/32832595
