The Idea Capture System
Most people lose good ideas. Not because they aren’t creative. Because they don’t store them. Ideas appear randomly. While driving. While scrolling. While working on something else. If you don’t capture them immediately, they disappear. A simple system fixes this. Step 1 Choose one place for ideas. Notes app, Notion, or a simple document. Step 2 Every idea goes there. No exceptions. Step 3 Don’t judge the idea yet. Just capture it. Step 4 Once a week, review the list and decide: Build it Save it Delete it Ideas are like raw material. The more you capture, the more you have to work with later. The mistake most people make is trusting their memory. Memory is not a system. Where do you currently store your ideas? Mine is my notes app on my phone, I had an idea for a project while driving in the car today and put it straight in there.

Having a system to go back to notes is clever.

@Antonio Totino yeah thank you. If my husband is asleep 😴 think it’d be preferable to be silent. I’m sticking to the light-up pen
