We played our first (and last) cup match of the season on Saturday, and it was okay. My bottom tier u12 Woking academy girls team face top tier reading procision and it was very good at first… JPL cup matches are 70 minutes rather than 80 and I played the first half in goal and I came off at half time and we were winning 1-0… We only had 10 players - 8 outfielders and 2 goalies so both me and the other keeper played outfield for a bit… I started the second half of and played 25 minutes at Centre-mid. At full-time it was 1 all and my coach told me I would go in goal for the shoot out but when the other keeper came of hurt he let her go in goal… then he promised me I could take a pen and put me as the 7th taker. We lost 5-4 on penalties

I play nine a side and struggle to get the ball out of my own box because at goalkeeper training with Woking academy on a Wednesday during for a 1hr session during team training we don’t get the space to practice properly. Sometimes I get told that I have to throw it so it will hit the floor before they receive it but I’m not sure that helps with the distance

Sadly didnt get into Portsmouth academy after my 8 week trial. We go on to the next! Ps doesn’t matter too much as a saints fan!
