Sorry everyone
I missed the craft hour… I went off to hospital with chest pain about three hours ago. I’m back home now though. I had an atrial fibrillation attack. My neighbours are heavy cannabis smokers and the smoke drifts into my house and it makes my heart thump and race. It was only a matter of time before I ended up in hospital. I’m ok, just very tired. Thank you @Tina Bryner for stepping in for me. I really appreciate it. You’re a star! I’m going to bed now. I’ll see you all tomorrow!

Think I’m turning into a basket case!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’ve been basketing all day! The pink one that I showed earlier is done. It’s a big 12 x 10 inch basket. I’ve also done a little tartan Christmas one too!

Too big for my Contigo travel mug. Can't wait to try it on a to-go cup. Super cute, and good practice doing the jogless join.

Ever wondered about different wool fibre?
I thought I’d start this thread to let you know about different wool yarn and what it is like to use. I’m going to post on this thread about different yarns. First yarn of the week is : 🧶 Merino Wool (The Soft Superstar) • Comes from Merino sheep, originally from Spain, now mostly Australia/New Zealand. • Fibers are only 17–22 microns thick — thinner than a human hair (which is ~70 microns)! That’s why it feels buttery-soft, never itchy. • It can absorb 30% of its weight in moisture before feeling wet — way more than regular wool. • Used in high-end activewear: it wicks sweat, fights odor, and regulates temperature better than almost any synthetic.

I heard about Merino wool last year from a coworker. Pretty cool, lol.
Crochet
I am working on a hooded crowl and learning myself how to do the rim by hand...well I have started over 4 times...and I mean after going around the entire hood then realizing something just doesn't look right...I'm pretty stubborn and bound and determined to do this. 🙄
