Let’s break this down ActionVibe-style 👇 🔑 The Truth About DJ Confidence Confidence does NOT come from: ❌ Being perfect ❌ Knowing every transition ❌ Waiting until you “feel ready” Confidence comes from: ✅ Knowing your sound is clean ✅ Having a simple live flow ✅ Pressing “Go Live” anyway 🎯 The ActionVibe Confidence Formula 1️⃣ Lock Your Audio First (Non-Negotiable) If your sound is clean, your confidence automatically jumps. Checklist: - Mic clear, not distorted - Music louder than mic, but not overpowering - No echo - No guessing 👉 Clean sound = instant authority. 2️⃣ Use a Simple Live Structure (No Overthinking) Every confident DJ live follows this: Opening → Music → Talk → Music → Loop You don’t need tricks. @Thankgod Awuje I created a video that shows you how I got these answers using the ActionVibe AI Live Coach. Read through this below first.... A) Quick diagnosis (what’s actually happening) - The constant underground noise = grounding / monitoring loop. - You’re hearing music in your headphones (monitor mix)but TikTok is only receiving your mic channel, not the music channel. - Result: live + recordings = vocals only, no instrumental. This is VERY common with singing lives. B) The play (fix it for TONIGHT — no new gear) 1️⃣ Kill the underground noise (first) Do this in order: 1. Unplug the charger from your phone while live→ charging causes ground hum 70% of the time 2. Plug all gear into the SAME power strip 3. Lower Monitor / Earphone volume on the sound card(not the main output) 4. If noise remains → slightly lower Mic Gain, raise Main Output 👉 If the noise disappears when you unplug headphones = monitoring loop confirmed. 2️⃣ Why YOU hear music but VIEWERS don’t This is the key lesson 👇Your headphones are listening to the monitor mix.TikTok only hears what’s sent to the MAIN OUTPUT. Your music is likely: - Going into AUX / Monitor only - NOT routed to Live / Main / USB output - 3️⃣ Fix background music not going to TikTok (MOST IMPORTANT) Do ONE of these depending on setup: ✅ BEST FIX (recommended) Send music INTO the sound card - Phone / tablet / laptop → AUX IN on sound card - Raise Music / AUX knob - Confirm Main Output knob is up - ➡️ Now TikTok hears:🎤 Voice + 🎶 music together ⚠️ What NOT to do - Playing music on a separate phone in the room - Relying on headphone monitoringTikTok will NEVER capture that. C) 60-second audio test (do this before you go live) Timer starts ⏱️ 1. Start a private TikTok live 2. Speak → confirm voice meter moves 3. Start music → raise AUX / Music knob 4. Sing over music 5. Ask: No taps = music not routed yet. D) First 60 seconds opening move (singing live)
