Whatever Works, Right?
All animals have to breathe, but this was a new one for me. Breathing through your reproductive organs? Introducing The Mary River turtle: https://www.edgeofexistence.org/species/mary-river-turtle/

I love this. Australia has sins of the most unique animals.
Turning Into Something Beautiful
“A caterpillar knows it's a butterfly, even if the whole world tries to convince it that it's just a worm.” ― Matshona Dhliwayo I’ve been captivated by the courage and talent of this young man, Dylan Holloway. His journey, both as a transgender youth and as a musician has been a welcome reminder of what is possible and often necessary for real transformation to take place: https://passalongsongs.substack.com/p/times-like-these-turn-into-something Please join me in liking and sharing his amazing work.

Loved this and his tagline. It’s okay to love all versions of yourself. What a beautiful soul.

I listened to the two on YouTube. I couldn’t get on his fb without following him. Yellow was really good, Moon you could feel the emotional “love story” for lack of a better explanation. It was beautiful. His story is empowering.

@Jena Ball that goes with most animals. They all have the special gifts and talents that amaze me. Kinda like humans, we all have a outouse. I think the biggest difference is animals use theirs unapologetically. No ego to stand in their way. ❤️😁
Times Like These: I find it necessary
“Every room I walk into, my heart walks in first. Every lyric I write is my heart crying raging, hoping, screaming, pleading. You’ve watched me do this - this sifting through life’s messiness - for almost 25 years. Some of you find it annoying. Some of you find it brave. I find it necessary. I think that as human beings we’re vulnerable from the day we’re born til the day we die, and most of us spend our entire lives running from that. I have decided to make vulnerability my life’s work." - Pink Here is the post featuring 3 of what I consider Pink's most "Wildly" vulnerable pieces. She definitely belong among the Wild Dialogs community, don't you think? https://passalongsongs.substack.com/p/times-like-these-i-find-it-necessary

@Jena Ball I love music. Several times the answer to my prayers came in the form of music. I’ll wake up with a song playing in my head, sometimes I know it, sometimes I don’t. I’ll find the song, it is a bit of a challenge for the ones I don’t know, but my answer is found in the lyrics.
Menagerie Monday: Enthralled by Snails
I confess I've never gotten close enough to a snail to watch it eat. But this is adorable (in my humble opinion of course). After seeing this video I started to think about how snails carry their homes on their backs and the fact that they have two two pairs of retractable antennae on their heads. One pair contains their eyes while the second is used to navigate through smell. They're pretty nifty critters, don't you think?

I love the video! It looks like they have some kind of “moving compactor arm” on their lower jaw. Adorable.

@Jena Ball I had to look it up. Those are thousands of microscopic teeth that line up in a row, like a flexible tongue-like ribbon that acts like a scraper. Does that not make you love this wonder of a creature even more?!
