Saying Good-bye is Hard to Do
Hi everyone. This is to let you know that I will be leaving Skool. The platform simply does not allow me to create and engage with others in a way that feels professional and effective. Despite repeated attempts to call Skool’s attention to the issues I’ve encountered (which they acknowledge and say others have mentioned) nothing has changed. Especially concerning is the way they expect community owners to use other social media platforms to drive traffic to Skool. I simply don’t have the time or money to set up accounts on, master, and pay for ads on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest (to name just a few) all the while struggling to create content and find members for my Skool community. Anyway, that was a long way to say thank you for your interest in and support of Wild Dialogs. I’ve had some wonderful conversations with each of you and hope you will keep in touch. You can always find me on Substack: https://wilddialogs.substack.com. I wish you all the best.
Holy COW - Always Look Behind
This video will grab you by the throat. Gotta wonder who was watching who and for what reason, right?!! https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18VnnMh26P/

Food for Thought Thursday: Mushrooms!
These are not pictures of smoke but of oyster mushrooms releasing spores at night. I am always amazed by not only what I don't know but what I don't even know to look for as well. According to the filmmaker, MycoMotion (who specializes in filming fungi), you can go witness this amazing release for yourself. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? What are we missing every day because we don't know to look? Do you have a favorite moment like this to share? https://www.facebook.com/reel/1249300057317326

The Pocahontas Song
https://youtu.be/BJO2XD1i3Hs?si=T1y6n9Ert71rGiEO I’m sharing this today with all of you because the admin of another group asked about “the feel” in Skool groups as opposed to posts about how to monetize, build funnels and engagement, attract members, etc. Quite frankly I cringe the moment someone starts to try to upsell me or teach me how to build an offer or a funnel. I’ve taken so many courses (and spent waaay too much money) on all this and each has gone badly awry. And not because what I was offering was of poor quality or lacked value but because I shifted my focus from the spirit and intent of what I was producing to monetization. Now don’t get me wrong. I am not against making money but for me (and this is just me) it has to be via genuine interaction and heartfelt collaboration. No, I am not saying I have to have one-on-one meetings with every member, but everything I post should encourage them to see a connection to their own lives and or to others in the group. That others part is important. If I comment on and help expand the discussion in a community it’s because I’ve taken the time to get to know their message and intent. I would hope they’d return the favor and visit to comment on my group. This, I’ve come to believe, is how real community is built - it at least how I intend to build and grow my community. I want to be able to say, as Andrea Gibson did as she was dying that “I fucking loved my life. “

Aloha Strong
My dear Ohana from Maui taught me this. So wise, so compassionate, so real: "We come back to Aloha all the time. Aloha's not just hugs and kisses and hearts and all that. No Aloha means hard work. Aloha means you sacrifice so you can transform. There needs to be this like push and pull. Because if everything is easy, it's gonna be weak. It's not going to be a strong foundation. If a journey has challenges, it only makes a person and then the people and then the Earth and Hawaii stronger. The hard part is the whole point." - Hiʻilani Shibata https://www.facebook.com/reel/1954660388460879 What Aloha struggles have made you stronger?
