Profile video
Hey everyone, has anyone here added a video to their profile and can share how it impacted your results? Did it boost your profile views or increase the number of invites you received? Did your hire rate improve? Have any clients mentioned whether the video influenced their decision to hire you? I know the video needs to be high quality, and it’s better to have no video than a bad one. I’m just trying to understand the real value before deciding whether it’s worth spending money on a professional video.

@Andrew Castillo Just having it will not land you clients, the most important aspect of getting clients on Upwork is your profile (that it's fully optimized) and your proposals.

Availability badge
Hey, has anyone tried adding more connects to the Availability Badge? The minimum is 14, but I’m wondering if it’s worth experimenting with spending more per day?

Hey @Paulius V, you can try it out bidding 1-2 connects per day. It'll show you a warning but it's fine to bid less even with the warning.

Upwork Title
Hey! What do you think about putting an ampersand (“&”) near the beginning of a title? For example: Branding & Creative Strategy Expert How does it impact SEO? I don’t think clients use ‘&’ when searching.

@Paulius V That's fine, it won't have a huge impact since clients will look for "branding" or "creative strategy" or "creative expert" not both at the same time

Hello, I am happy to be here in this community. I would like to ask if is it normal to hit 50 proposals without getting any clients? Saying profile opt and proposal templates. I have tried them all and no results. I am not disappointed. I am deeply disappointed :)

Hi Basem, ideally you should get at least one client from 50 proposals, but we break down our metrics to understand why. Check your view rate, it should be above 40%, then your message rate/interview rate should be at least 10% of your views and you should try to get on calls with clients and close at least 20% of those calls.
