I’d like to list the tools I work with in my Upwork profile description. I use around 40-50 different tools, and I’m wondering if listing all of them could be considered keyword stuffing and have any negative impact on my account.

Hello. I’m considering sharing my Upwork profile link on my social media accounts. This would bring traffic to my profile, however, it would mostly be very cold traffic, and only a few people might be interested in my services. Could this hurt my account in any way? Would Upwork consider my profile as “not convertible” if many people visit but no one actually contacts me?

Previously, after sending a proposal and having the client respond and start a conversation, the connects were very often refunded. I know that Upwork does not necessarily refund connects for every conversation, but recently I have noticed that they do not seem to refund connects at all. Is this just my case, possibly due to a smaller sample, or have you noticed the same change? What has been your experience? Please share.

How does Upwork’s search work? For example, if a client from the USA searches for freelancers, does Upwork automatically prioritize or rank U.S.-based talent higher even when no location filter is applied? I don’t mean the search where a client selects ONLY a specific location. I mean a regular search.
