Oooh this is scary. It’s like praying for patience! 😂 I would love for God to empower my influence!
What Makes A Leader?
I’m curious on everyone’s thoughts on this question - are you a leader simply because people follow you? Can you be a leader when no one is following or serving alongside you? How does one know they are a leader? I was told I was a leader many times over my twenties and thirties, and it shocked me every time. I didn’t have a following or a business, and I wasn’t managing a team. Why would someone say I was a leader? One particular example was when I was attending a multi-session, secular “personal transformation” conference in San Diego and there were 75 of us (strangers to each other) in the group. One of the sessions required everyone in the room to vote for the leaders who had made a difference in their experience, and I was one of 5 that were acknowledged as such. Again, it was a shock to me, as I’d never seen myself that way. I finally decided the only person I was hiding from was myself, and to be the leader God called me to be. It’s been a strange, fun, interesting and difficult journey but I believe He’s brought me to a place where He can use me, now that I’ve submitted to His plan for my life. I’m bringing this up to ask what YOUR journey has looked like toward being a leader and when did you fully step into it and embrace the calling?

For me, leadership means putting myself aside to care for the people God sends to walk along a path with me in life - my husband, my children, my employees, my friends… and loving the whole person, not just the part you need or want. I worked for a good friend who once said “I hired a whole person not just an employee” and that statement showed me how a good business leader would see the people who work with them. I’ve adopted that in my business too, because it’s the example Christ gave us.
Power House Community
Powerhouse Community 🔥 Looking through the members tab today honestly fired me up. Seeing all the names in this community and realizing who God is bringing together here has me incredibly excited for what’s ahead. This isn’t just another online group. God is building something powerful. We are stacked with mighty men and women of God who genuinely carry a heart for people, discipleship, leadership, prayer, and advancing the Kingdom of God. The passion, wisdom, experience, and hunger represented here is special. I truly believe lives are going to be changed, leaders are going to be raised up, and real Kingdom impact is going to come out of the relationships being built inside this community. This is only the beginning. 🔥🙌

Welcome Dave!!! @David Antis
Peer to Peer Discipleship
One of the things that makes this community special is that we don’t just learn from the content, we learn from each other. Every person here has experiences, victories, struggles, lessons, and insights that someone else in this community needs to hear. When you see a post, don’t just scroll by. Take a moment to encourage someone. Ask a question. Share what God has taught you. Celebrate a win. Pray for a brother or sister who is struggling. Discipleship was never meant to be a solo journey. We grow faster when we grow together. Remember: someone else’s breakthrough may be on the other side of your comment. Today, I want to challenge everyone to engage with at least 3 posts from other members. Let’s continue building a culture where everybody contributes, everybody learns, and everybody grows. 👇 What’s one lesson God has taught you recently that could encourage someone else in this community?

Doing the right thing for someone else by completely sacrificing your own needs and desires is the definition of Godly love. It doesn’t feel good, and the world wants us to believe we should care for ourselves first, but when I read the Scriptures it says to love as He loved us and DIED for us. Am I willing to die for those I love? What about dying to my SELF? I hate it. I don’t want to do it. But it’s HIS way.
Let’s Do This! (Action step 5/22/2026)
Action Step for the Weekend This weekend, take some intentional time to pray and ask God to reveal one person He wants you to invest in and disciple. Don’t overcomplicate it. Simply ask: “Lord, who have You placed in my life that You want me to encourage, walk alongside, and help grow closer to You?” As you pray, write down any name that comes to mind. Then ask God for wisdom, opportunities, and courage to take the next step. Remember what Paul wrote: “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” — 2 Timothy 2:2 (NIV) Discipleship doesn’t always start with a Bible study. Sometimes it starts with a conversation, a coffee meeting, a text message, or simply being present in someone’s life. Challenge: Before Monday, identify one person and pray for them by name. Then look for one practical way to connect with them next week. Drop a 🙏 in the comments if you’re committing to pray and ask God who that one person is. Let’s be disciples who make disciples. 💪🔥
