The Space to Be — February Reflections
February in Maine is a quiet threshold. The days are still cold and inward, yet the light is beginning to return. It’s a time when the body hasn’t fully turned toward movement — but something inside is stirring. The invitation here is simple: Listen Listening to the body, the breath, what has been asking for attention beneath the surface. This kind of listening is especially important right now. February isn’t about pushing forward — it’s about stabilizing. When we slow down enough to feel where we actually are, we prepare ourselves to move with more clarity and ease as the days lengthen.

As the holidays approach- be sure to come back to you💝
To me, this means, mindful nourishment through healthy, veggies intake, moving my body daily, and meditating... every single day (at least once). When I know I am keeping my cup full, all the things simply overflow. How do you keep your cup full? Or remain anchored during this time?

Daily Digest: The First Softening
Hi friends, If you are new here (like me :) ), please let me introduce you to the daily digest- a series of quick considerations, thoughts, possibly change in perspectives with some associated actions that may change your day. Thank you for being here💜 Begin to notice your belly is the emotional brain of your body. When you’ve been holding too much, your gut tightens, your breath shallowly rises, and your nervous system goes into silent protection. Somatic Moment: Right now, place one hand on your belly. Inhale through your nose…Exhale through your mouth.Let your belly soften at least 5% more than it naturally would. Digest Prompt: What is the first thing your body wants to release when you soften?
