Vestibular Migraine
Hi all. I have been a little quiet lately, as I have been diagnosed with vestibular migraines/Menieres Disease. They are still trying to sort it all out but it has been debilitating. So, after I cried about how my life had another obstacle, I took to the drawing board to learn and help others as well. Soon I will be posting some information about the vestibular system and how issues with it are strongly related to/are also autoimmune disorders. Yay for learning!

@Cassandra Choate, FMCHC that sounds terrible. Is it like vertigo?

@Cassandra Choate, FMCHC aww that’s so uncomfortable and kind of miserable. I had vertigo last year pretty bad for a couple of months a few years ago when I had a bad cavity, so bad I ended up getting a root canal which I regretted a couple years later and had the whole tooth removed. I was surprised how the cavity affected my whole balance. Have you gone to the chiropractor?
I'm back!
I'm back from my mini burnout vaca. In the meantime, I passed inspection and gained licensure for my home care agency. Big step for me!!! How was everyone's weekend?

Hi everyone
Thank you for inviting me to your group Cassandra! Who am I: I am a mother of an adult son and widow of 17 years. I’m a Foodture Nutritional Instructor, PCRM Partner, cookware specialist, and teacher of 25+ years. Facing chronic illness in my life and family inspired me to me to focus on root causes. For 5 years, I’ve coached people to biohack their health using science, tech & the art of cooking. I love learning , exploring, and recently have been making more collaborative videos has been fun. My son and I also offer dog care. He primarily does it now and I’m focusing on teaching and cooking classes. I love good quality. mineral salt. I use Real Salt. What do you use?

@Cassandra Choate, FMCHC I’m grateful to be here. I love sharing the education and tools about how to eliminate environmental toxins and increase nourishment.
What is functional health?
Well, to summarize it....functional health is a systems-based, integrative approach that seeks to understand why symptoms occur rather than simply treating them. Instead of focusing on isolated conditions, it examines how all body systems interact and influence overall well-being. Typically when it seems like a symptom of illness popped up from nowhere, there were months prior where your body was either giving clues or there were events that led up to the final breaking point, causing your body to react. Functional health digs deep into all areas to address what areas of life these issues stem from. Then, we begin to set lifestyle changes in place to heal them.
