Chapter 3 Recovering a Sense of Power
Checking off my list today and waiting while my break pads, lights, and oil are changed. I read Chapter 3 and here’s a few things that stood out to me: Anger is a map Anger is a loyal friend telling us to act in our own best interests Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Action has magic, grace, and power in it~Goethe As artists we must learn to create our own safe environment The antidote for shame is self-love Just show up Growth occurs in spurts 10 slow miles for every fast one Practice being kind to yourself in small, concrete ways
