We always want to encouraging you to create and release music! So, with that in mind, I created a free platform called membershipcollab.com that can help you all better connect with other students in this community for collaboration! In my opinion, collaboration is the #1 way to help increase your skills and grow as a musician, engineer or producer. The new membershipcollab.com platform is a tool all of you can use to connect and work on projects! 1. Create a free account on membershipcollab.com. 2. From there you can post projects and list the roles needed to complete the project. 3. People can apply to work with you or you can search for people/skills to find collaborators. 4. If you're in a paid membership you can always bring these projects to the mentors for extra help. 5. I will create a post at end of each month where we can highlight everyone who completed a project that month. 6. As a community we can give some support to these projects :) It should be a good time! UPDATE: Check the comments for great solutions! -- Izotope RX has excellent repair features, the one I really need is de-click, but the price is really high for the necessary version (around 500 bucks). Does anybody know of an affordable alternative? How do you solve this problem when you have too many clicks and need to remove them? Also: any tips for reducing mouth noises when recording? I recorded very close to my SM58 (with a pop filter) because the closeness gave me the sound I preferred. Should I hydrate more? Or less? :D

AI.... SOooooo.... thought I might throw out a 'controversial' topic.... what do peeps think of using AI generated parts in their music? Are you having success? Inspiration? I know I have been very pleasantly surprised in a variety of ways and would love to hear your experiences. :D

The task, because we have nothing better to do on Sunday, is to see how many songs with female names in the title. Do this for a minute see how many you come up with. Put the number and perhaps link to your favourite track in the chat. (I found it is best to think about this a while before you time yourself because I only managed 5 in the minute 😜)

I've recently upgraded to the Sennheiser HD 560S for mixing. I've also created a profile for it using the AutoEQ app to closely match the headphone's 'natural' frequency curve, then loaded it into SoundSource. I'm fairly pleased with the results, but was wondering if 1. anyone else uses this headphone for mixing 2. anyone here uses (or have used) the AutoEQ app to 'tune' your headphone 3. there is a benefit using a paid utility like Sonarworks SoundID over this method.
