Sun - Mar 15. The Ides of March - Knowing when to ask for help!
Hi Friend! What Julius Caesar didn't notice and brushed off on a long-ago March 15th cost him dearly. It appears he was so certain of himself that he didn't listen to dire warnings. I'll let you look that one up, if you'd like. Things aren't quite so dire today, but I'm taking an opportunity to listen to what @Lisa Burke said in her comment on the Mar. 12 post. She is wise indeed to remind herself and all of us that asking for help when we're stuck is a good plan. Immediately upon reading her comment, I was reminded of a book I keep on my nightstand for when I need some gentle, happy thoughts to help me sleep. "The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and The Horse" is a sweet reminder to care for ourselves and each other, by artist Charlie Mackesy. I highly recommend it! The Boy asks the Horse when he has been at his strongest, and the Horse tells him it's when he's been brave enough to show weakness. "Asking for help isn't giving up," said the Horse. "It's refusing to give up." I have felt like giving up on technology this week, but I'm going to find solutions, instead. When and how have YOU refused to give up?

@Bonnie Brindle The Anxiety Avenger that 🐿️ 🤣
Fri - Mar 12. I missed posting from our last LIVE Call.! Here it is.
Hey My Friend! Friday got away from me in hours of technology torture. I worked with a friend to try and solve my newsletter CRM issues and figure out why my Calendly shut me out. Stupid Human Tricks! After reflecting on this experience a while, I realized that I have learned a ton of functionality on tech since I started using it to build my online presence. And though that is true, my understanding is elementary when compared with what some of my needs require. What I realized is that when it come to internal Chaos, this is my biggest challenge. Being stuck in the tech swirl is what causes me the most angst in my personal world at the moment. Today I'm working on some concrete solutions to this predicament, so I can reduce my stress around it. It took me a little while to move from marinating in overwhelm, to calming myself with EFT Tapping and Jin Shin Jyutsu, to solutions-based thinking. I'm wondering - Have you been through a similar process on a repeated stressor? Or might you have worked through something in another way?

Ooooh, can I ever relate to this. Mine is numbers/math. It has never come naturally for me and sometimes, when at work, I get ‘vapor locked’ and I panic or get very frustrated when I need to ‘math,’ but can’t see my way through. My strategy is to ask for help. I have close friends at work that love solving these kinds of problems and I reached out to them. If I know it’s a once a year type of challenge I need to solve then I might ask them to take it on completely for me. If I need to learn it for next time, I ask if they can either do it slowly and explain along the way or take it on for me and explain it when we both have some free time. I am always very happy to help when my friends raise their hand. I’m not always great at asking for help but I do it - and am always grateful I did.

Welcome, Rachel! Hiking National Parks is the best! Did you visit any in the PNW? We’re originally from Oregon and the mountains there are so beautiful 😍.

Monday - Minneapolis, Minnesota and the Monks' Walk for Peace
Hello My Friend! First off, don't forget to mark your calendar for Wednesday, 6pm MT (8pm ET, 5pm PT), to jump on our LIVE Call #4. So much caring and connection there! Juxtaposing the intense and terrifying Chaos of armed and unpredictable federal agents occupying Minnesota while the Buddhist Monks are walking from TX to DC in a moving meditation for Calm and Peace is a stark contrast to say the least! Many people in and outside of the US are compelled to stay informed of both historic happenings. And some are taking direct action daily - standing up against one and following the other in gratitude. Since I choose to stay informed about the Chaos side of things, I do so well before winding down for the evening. And since there is ongoing video of the Monks touching the hearts and minds of thousands of people as they walk toward Washington, DC, I make sure to get plenty of that loving and respectful action. I watch them as the last bit of "screen time" before bed. In the morning, I repeat the Monks' mantra to start my forward motion. "Today Will Be My Peaceful Day." If you have a mantra, a favorite quote, or quip to start you off on the right foot each day, would you please share it with us? And if you are just developing or borrowing one, would you let us know what it is? Please note: I moved videos, member questions, shares and wins into their own categories. Plenty to engage with in those categories. See you Wednesday!

My heart is still full from seeing them in DC 🥰. We were standing with hundreds of folks along Massachusetts Ave - all of us and the police were very excited. After an hour of wondering how we’d know when they were coming, one police vehicle let out a chirp, followed by dozens more quick chirps. Then silence before we saw them heading our way. There was a LOT of police presence, as you’ll see in the video. After they passed, we walked behind them through Embassy Row. Some embassies had folks out greeting us and joining the walk. It was an incredibly special day!
Sunday - Animals We're Grateful For
Is there an animal you are or were grateful for - Pet? Livestock? Wildlife? An animal in your life now or one that was with you for a time? Or maybe more than one? Tell us about the special animal(s) you are grateful for, and share a photo if you can...
