New Year Hopes?
Happy New Year, everyone! What are your hopes and goals for the new year? Not just for your garden, but in general? I have several things to finish up around my property, but the garden will stay wild for now as a good wintertime habitat for critters. As for my general goals, I will get moving more with a yoga habit to stay flexible and pursue a job in the coming months. What are y'all looking forward to achieving?

Oh so interesting i am going to look into this! You know two years ago i had let my cilantro go to seed and got some coriander seeds a lot dropped off. One started growing in the fall and i just left it over winter i had covered my garden with leaves and hay as i plant garlic as well. In spring that cilantro took off and i just let it grow and it was massive and one of the best pollinators ive had and it produced so many seeds i still have a full container i cook with and i gave most away. And same happened to a decorated pumpkin i put in my compost and the seed over wintered and popped up and grew like crazy. I am so excited now to try this! Thank you

Winter Storm Fern

It's the Little Things
I haven't sat in front of a fireplace reading a newspaper in a really long time. My dad sent me some articles in the mail, as one's parents do, so here we are. So cozy. And yes, our Christmas decorations are still up. It's only January.
