Day 2
Perfectionist and people pleasing (also invisible one).. see it’s turned into caretaker and controller in certain situations. It's been a lot to handle. I loved being creative with crafts, art, baking, playing outdoors. Micro task steps 1. pick made decorative origami box for neighbor 2. fill with chosen things 3. write note/card 4. pick time to go there and what I’ll say 5. go

I believe we had felt a lot of the same ways at times. I just watched day three and those are my exact mask that I wore. Mine also started as people pleasing, then trying to control the crazy, chaotic situation around me that was my life and then as life continued this led into caretaking. Exhausting to say the least. You sound very creative and a lovely person. A very generous person and I believe one that gives her all to everyone but yourself. At least that is how my senerio went. But at 66 I found out I had ADHD all my life which is at least allowing me to see so much of why I did so many things the way I did them. So now I am beginning to give my self a little self care and some breaks when I do so many of the wacky things I find myself doing...lol I hope you are giving yourself some kindness and self care...I think you really deserve that for all you have done for others. Take Care Linda
Always running behind
I am just now posting day ones answer to my open loop ... 1st I couldn't figure out how to get to everything and what I all needed to do. But I have it figured out now but I am playing catch up. My open loop is a call I have been going to give one of my best friends since the last week in August. My phone is about to go out on me and it acts up all the time when you least want it to. So I have a new phone ordered, that should have been here two days ago. But we also love to talk at least an hour at a time. But, I have been so busy, or tired out, that I just couldn't seem to find the time to make that call. Not she may be gone on her big trip and I am not sure when I can call her or she will be able to call me. I really feel bad.
A work in progress...
Hi everyone..I am pretty new to all of this. I am 66 and found out, just recently, that I have ADHD. It's been a total game changer for myself and a totally new understanding why I do what I do. Also, why my life has always been so Chaotic, Challenging and full of so many ups and downs. I really want to learn how I can create some structure and routines in my life. Just this alone would help so much on creating a life that would be richer and fuller.
