The Grace of Death
I've had a wild week! I felt some guilt for starting this community and then - somewhat - disappearing for a week. But in good cause - I've been so ill; diarrhea, physically sick, cough, cold, back aches constantly for 4 days... even before yesterday's news I knew it has been a deep multi-layer cleansing. I've been watching old 'energetic scaffolding' being dismantled across my back. This was an old pattern of trying to life up the world around me. There is no one to 'lift up', right? You are exactly where you need to be, as am I! It's another level of acceptance in this beauty of life. The news I found out yesterday was that my Nan Joy passed away in the night, at 96. And there no coincidences. I've felt this whole week was in process with her. I cried with so much sweet softness around my heart when I heard the news. Equally beautiful it is her time, as she was struggling with dementia for at least 3 years. So there's grief, but also sweet relief and spaciousness. And love, and sadness. And it's all part of this beautiful trip of life. I felt to share that update with you all. I look forward to sharing more in this new space, "Mystics in the Matrix." soon. Blessings, Darren

So very sorry for your loss Darren. May your beautiful memories of Nan be a comfort and a blessing for your soul at this transition and eternally. Thank you for sharing the pictures, such beautiful, precious, loving moments. She looks like a soul of shining light and her twinkling light will always be with you✨✨✨
Snow Raven Performance
I’ve just arrived back to my hotel room after witnessing an experience, a show, a performance by the Arctic Siberian ceremonialist, Snow Raven. She was extraordinary—so close to life, so connected, so in her “being” and I feel so inspired. Her message was simple— a desire to share the way of her people with the world, and through that a message of the sounds of nature, an interactive experience with the members of the audience with breath was encouraged, and in life, and through connected embodied movement practices, she called in the spirits of the four directions at the beginning and she encouraged us to share our voices in ways that I’ve never shared my voice ever, and throughout all of it her heart was emanating love. The whole performance was improvised. There was no orchestrated song or que list and although there might have been an arc of a journey that she roughly knew she was going on she was so surrendered to life and so in her being that whatever was gonna happen was gonna be perfect— in trust of existence—I feel so inspired right now so inspired so inspired with love you all Darren. Has anyone else witnessed her magic?

Yes I came across her magic three years ago and was blown away by the beauty of her simplicity and the authentic power of her connection to nature, which came alive with every sound. She is authentic empowerment in action, heart-centered exquisite beauty and an expression of pure integrity. She ignited my soul.
