I need to make a flattening jig for my router to flatten a cutting board. Anyone have any advice?

One of my favorite projects. I needed a cane, so decided to make my own. Why would a woodworker just buy something commercial? This cane is made of five kinds of wood: walnut, oak, maple, ebony and camphor burl.

Which is best, Titebond or Gorilla Glue? What's your favorite? I'm doing some testing, trying to see for myself just what the differences between them are.
