Fatih Sultan Mehmed spent days in his tent, staring at war maps and strategy, away from the business of the world, so that he can listen to his intuition and receive ideas on how to take over Constantinople. He was 12 years old when he planted the idea of capturing Constantinople. At 21, he was the first person in the world to take over Constantinople. Nikola Tesla is famous for being able to create, deconstruct and visualise incredibly complex machinery, inventions and ideas entirely in his mind. He would then go on to create many inventions, particularly the Alternate Current Motor, entirely in his head, before he even did anything physically. He would receive ideas suddenly in his mind, which he would then put on paper. Albert Einstein famously used "thought experiments" entirely in his mind to try and understand physics. He visualised himself riding alongside a beam of light, which would later allow him to create the special theory of relativity. Paul McCartney received the idea for the famous song Yesterday when he woke up one morning and found the melody of the song playing in his head. He had received the idea so effortlessly that he thought he was simply remembering a song that had already existed. It hadn't. Yesterday became a legendary song for The Beatles. Salvador Dali is famous for his highly abstract, sometimes weirdly scary artwork. He developed the "paranoiac-critical method" of accessing the deep realms of his subconscious mind, where he would receive bizarre visual imagery that he later went onto create art from. Mary Shelley had a disastrous dream where she received the idea for Frankenstein, which went on the completely redefine literature forever. We still read and study Frankenstein today. She accessed this idea in a dreaming state, where the subconscious is active. You can use the power of your subconscious mind and your intuition to receive ideas on how you should go on about your life.
